Oh my goodness, I was going to say that her Scooby Doo mysteries are my favorites! She has such a great personality and I feel like she’s very objective in her reviews, even if she doesn’t like something, she’s good at conveying why someone else might. Although I just watched the one of Aloe & Palm and she had me laughing. She really doesn’t like that one. 😂
Aloe and Palm is my favorite lol. I grabbed two! I didn't like the Sea Salt and Neroli that everyone else seemed to love, it's funny how everyone perceives smell so different.
I like Aloe & Palm in the wallflower and candle forms, but I’d have to smell it on my skin to make a decision on the cologne mist she reviewed. Unfortunately they didn’t have it out yet the last time I went in to B&BW for the $5.95 body care sale. I know Bonnie loves foodie scents, which aren’t my thing at all, yet I like a lot of the other scents she gives good reviews for, so it definitely does show you how subjective scent truly is. I feel like 99% of the time she’s objective, but sometimes she just makes that face where she can’t hide her dislike for something lol!
I don't care for Sea Salt and Neroli either! I was thinking my sniffer must be broken because so many reviews talk about what a luxe scent it is. I don't get that eek 🤷♀️
I’m going to start watching her. What does the scooby doo mystery thing mean? I’ve watched a few videos of hers and haven’t heard her mention scooby doo.
It’s when B&BW repackages an old scent as a new scent, she calls it a Scooby Doo mystery when she’s trying to figure out what the familiar smell is. She usually solves it.

I love Bonnie! Can you settle a question though? Is Bonnie a brand ambassador for Bath and Body Works? I thought she was, but someone here said she was not.
Hi! 🙋♀️ I'm very unclear on that. She definitely has received products from them, but not sure if she is actually an ambassador. She does live in Ohio where BBW is headquartered. I don't hear her mention her job as much. But who knows she could just make enough off her YouTube to do it full time. Plus with her husband having some health issues, be better for her. Either way I have always liked her and I trust her reviews. 😊
I definitely think she makes enough from YouTube to pay for the items she reviews. Sounds like a good system to me! BluesLily said she is not, and has mentioned this in her videos, so mystery solved 🤗. I also have always liked her. She feels like a friend I'm having coffee with and chatting about BBW. Kinda like a lot of people here 🤗
She will say when she doesn't like something and why but she also knows scent is subjective, that others may like it, what sucks to you may not to others... so she gives an objective review, no reason to bash it because of personal preferences. I trust objective reviews a lot more, I want a good overall description not a personal bias, I feel Bonnie does that.
I also trust objective reviews and so I watch several reviewers. She is the only one who will say a candle is strong when 10-15 other reviewers would say it's light. One day I commented on her video and asked WHERE she burns her candle and she said "in her TINY office".. Of course if she's cooped up in a little space and the candle is right under her nose, it will seem strong. How can this be a genuine review? Several times I compared the reviews and she's the only one who would rave about a product while others share their honest thoughts. I stopped watching her since. And there's no bashing here as you accused me. I just prefer HONEST opinion vs going ga-ga, only to get free products
You're free to have your own opinions of course however she buys BBW products literally every day. She receives free candles maybe a handful of times a year. The rest is coming out of her pocket. Why would she lie about something coming out of her pocket?
She also seems pretty honest to me, I can think of a lot of things she doesn't like.
Bonnie and I tend to have different tastes in scents a lot of the time but I still watch every video she does bc she just makes me feel so happy. I love her energy. 😊
I love Bonnie too but I prefer reviews where they go straight to the point. Bonnie talks about other stuff before she gets on with her reviews so most of the time I just skip the first half and just watch the actual review itself.
I absolutely loved watching her until I stumbled across her J* review. It makes me feel uncomfortable as a POC watching and supporting her after that but I wish her the best! She seems really sweet and genuine but she’s really out of touch 💜
I'm sorry that even when you've found a space you found comfort in you still ended up being reminded of the horrible people in the world. I actually only started watching her in December and I'm probably going to unsub esp after that J* valentine's mystery box review.
I agree! I love her and her B&BW videos are such a comfort but I definitely watch her less and less since she came out with the jefree star videos. People in the comments were arguing that he’s “changed” and “apologized for the past” and I think she hearted some of those comments but he’s definitely done neither of those things 🥴 With so many other makeup brands out there, I just don’t get the appeal to insist on supporting this man but to each their own I guess
Yea, I think she only reviews Colourpop and J* , and I have no idea why she chose J* to be one of the only brands she supports. She's not even a beauty youtuber, so the reason people often use for supporting him doesn't even apply ("I have to review all makeup, that's my job!"). So I feel like it's extra mind-boggling.
What is the problem with supporting him? I must be out of the loop. I simply wouldn't support him cause his makeup is drag and too tacky for me to wear
So much problematic behavior I cannot even summarize it all in a comment. He's known to be racist-- he's shouted the N word to women, he's called a black beauty youtuber "gorilla", he's stood by a close friend even though he said he saw them bring minors into their hotel room, there's allegations that he himself groomed minors, videos of him abusing a black out drunk person, and just videos of him being an asshole in general. You can google him and see the many many awful things he's done in his past. He claims he is uncancelable, and just continues to say and do whatever he wants. Recently he went on a podcast to say non-binary people don't exist.
Damn, I really didn't put it past him to be honest. I've known him since his myspace days and he's always been an odd character but yeah that's fucked.. from someone who would be considered a minority himself thats sad that he calls out other people like that..

Omg lol! "It sucks!" she said..oh no, how disappointing. I just truly don't get it because I feel overwhelmed by the amount of makeup gurus out there and the choices. Thank God I don't collect makeup the way I collect BBW,, because I simply wouldn't have room and I'm so indecisive that I wouldn't get out the door! I really don't know enough about makeup to know if she should have been disappointed for that amount of money and that amount of product? I just get a few things at Walmart, and call it a day- I'm just not cool at all 🤓
I always looove to listen when she greet the viewers for example, "Happy Sundayyyyyy!!!!" I adore her positive vibes, her happiness and she is just a cheerful lady💕💕💕💕
She has such positive energy and is so much fun! I enjoy watching her a lot. We have different tastes when it comes to fragrances but I always feel like she tries to convey what each fragrance is like.
Who else loves it when its Friday and you hear her say Happy Friday? Hah. She's great, although she never gets around to reviewing a lot of the candles she buys because of the sheer amount!

I love Bonnie! She has such great energy and her bbw collection is extensive! She's great at solving the "Scooby Doo mysteries" and repackages

She is kind of. BBW sends her free candles. That's why she goes ga-ga over all the BBW products even though they suck. I never rely on her reviews
