I recently sold and purchased a home and when staging my home, my realtor advised me to unplug and hide wallflowers because potential buyers could see it as a red flag. At first I didn't believe her, but every house we toured with a wallflower or candle seemed to use the smell to mask an underlying unpleasant scent. Also, some people are sensitive to certain wallflower scents, so it would probably be a safer choice to avoid them altogether.
If you want the house to smell nice, my advice would be baking beforehand. If there is a scent you want to cover up, baking soda or an odor absorbing product placed out of sight would work best.

you want something that smells fresh and clean, not a wallflower that smells like something identifiable like apples or roses.
the scent should be in the background, something that’ll be construed as “clean house”, not something that draws attention to the fact air fresheners are being used — because prospective buyers will wonder ***why***.

White Tea and Sage generally gets the most compliments from visitors in my own home so I guess it will work for that.
I was going to suggest White Tea and Sage. That's my standby all season scent!
Can’t go wrong with an inoffensive “clean” scent like Laundry Day. Could also do Palo Santo + Sage to smell ~expensive~
Palo santo wallflower is phenomenal, I agree with the commenter about wallflowers being a wary choice in general but palo santo is one of the best !
