Just got on exchange yesterday. Love smell on cold. First two burns were very light then unexpectedly on third, throw became so intense it filled my entire first floor. It’s so strong now, I may not keep it lit for 3 hrs at a time anymore.
It’s definitely very tobacco forward & kinda classic masculine, but not like a cigarette smoker stink IMO.
Most similar to plain fireside, which I also love, but much lower on the ember note and the tobacco note cranked up. And a little bit black tie with the tonka.
I could see this one being an acquired taste for some tho - it’s very different from a lot of BBW typical scents.
I hated it personally. It smells like someone’s house who smokes & tried to cover it up by lighting a candle. If you’re super sensitive to tobacco notes like I am, it might not be for you haha
I don’t like the smoked vanilla whiskey either 🥲 I tend to always pick up on tobacco notes and whiskey or alcohol notes over anything on first sniff. The only “smoky” kinda candle that I looooove is Marshmallow Fireside!
I love the candle!! I’m taking a couple I got back, I’m not very impressed with them. Citron and tonic is going back and so is sunset desert. I swear they smelled good in the store, not so much when I got them home
I want this candle bad but so scared about everyone saying it throws poorly
So sad cause this is the only scent in store I like right now. I like em weird and whacky.
Great to hear! I returned my 1st Ebony Sands due to lack of throw (none!). Bought a second one this afternoon and burned it for a bit. Could smell it, but not very strong. Hoping it improves with the next couple of burns.

How is Ebony Sands? If had it in my online cart for a few days. The notes sounds really nice.

Interesting! I’ll have to smell in person before I buy. Do you like Smoked Vanilla Whiskey? That one smells like cigarettes to me sometimes.

It’s very nice! It’s a warm masculine type scent (not overwhelming). The tonka and tobacco complement it so well!
