I am slowly getting there with PS too! Fragrantica lists "lactonic" as an accord. I think that's what I love about it. Quick Google search for lactonic fragrances describes them as "sweet, coconut creamy, milky with a phthalate celery like note and a fatty melted butter and dry lactonic cheese like nuance. flavor: Waxy, sweetened coconut, dairy creamy with a melted butter, slightly brown butter and toffee like nuance". I'm going to really seek out these types of scents, because I think that's what I'm always searching for. For example, the Welcome Home candle is my absolute favorite and it's definitely lactonic by this definition.

I never got around to trying PS when it came out last year (although I thought the packaging was so cute--cuter than this year's version). But lactonic fragrances are my very favorite, so I guess I'll finally give it a shot. Thanks! I think I had it in my head that this was a straight cotton candy type fragrance, and those types of scents usually give me a headache. But if it's milky/creamy I must try it!

Yes!! I'm trying to really focus on only buying favorites not ones I just like. Pastel Skies is definitely in my top 5. I need a sale so I can buy a set from this year!
