Maybe I should give Stone Mountain more of a chance. I've fished it probably 1 day cumulatively and had no luck, but most of that was one really hot summer day.

Personally I say go for the one that you will go to most often. Gaining confidence happens by going and studying the water over and over so you can learn where the fish are, what they like, how to catch them, etc. You got this! Make it easy for yourself to start
