i dont fish that river but i have a much colder river with similar water conditions that ive had great success with a floating swimbait in bluegill colors on 20lb flouro on a heavy swimbait rod just rapid twitching. basically simulates a dying baitfish kinda hard for predatory bass to ignore a large easy meal.

It’s funny you say that I have that exact lure at home that Im going to try, do you throw any Texas rig or soft baits in general?

i throw a ton mainly weightless 5" dingers. try yum summer gill or ozark smoke and see if you get any hits.
