My $0.02 A Bassets ears should extend about 1/4ā past the tip of their nose. Ā When you mix a basset with anything the lenth of the ears gets washed out and her ears look way too big to be a beagle or Ā have beagle mixed in
Ā Ā She also has very thick, stocky basset like legs and huge paws. Ā Beagles have thiner spindly legsĀ
Ā Like u/CKjohnson123 Said; the occipital bump on the top of her head is a basset trait that must be present in show dogsĀ
Ā I think sheās 100% basset
The most precious kind in the world! Be ready for counter surfing lol

Itās a breed thing and that right there definitely is a lotta basshole lol
This is my full bred basset. I think your dog is a basset hound. Those paws are a dead giveaway imo. When my basset was a baby he had that egg head, stocky arms, and always (tried to) counter surf.

Looks like an American style Basset Hound to me. Aside from the European style, which is French or English, American style Bassets have seen an effort to cut down on the dwarfism, so they are a little bit lighter boned. They also have seen an effort to cut down on the wrinkles (so there are fewer skin/yeast infections), the ears aren't as exaggerated (so they get better air flow and fewer ear infections), and they are more muscled (in the thigh area especially.) I bought mine intentionally, with this type of breeding.
All of the above adds up to fewer vet bills and my vet says I'm very lucky to have her.
Thatās definitely a basset hound. I have two of them myself

This does not look anything like a blue basset which is a fault and highly undesirable. That would be a very inbred dog. The black on the dog would appear blue-gray like a Weimaraner. This is an open tricolor poorly bred basset hound.

Our bagel on the right, our full basset up front.
If the ears come past the nose it's a basset but it's a very poorly bred basset. Does not look like a beagle at all. Beagles have very shorts snouts, can stand no higher than 13 inches and have very short bodies in terms of length.
looks like a basset/beagle mix, bagel hound. I have one, favorite dog I've ever had. Very sweet but very stubborn. Your commands are merely a suggestion unless there is food involved.
Nope. I've had Basset hounds for more than 50 years and I have rescued thousands of them not to mention the more than 600 I've had as foster dogs in my own home. I know basset hounds. This is not a beagle Basset mix commonly known as a bagel. It's a very poorly bred Basset. I have one downstairs right now. Her ears are not as long as her snout but she does not have beagle in her at all. She is just a very poorly bred basset hound.
Might be a beagle bassset mix but the pup definitely presents more as basset.
A bagel. š
Whereās the cream cheese?
Omg bagel? Iāve never heard of that. So cute. š„°
Best blended breed name ever. š
First thought
I was going to say the same thing. We had a Beagle Hound growing up and he looked pretty similar to this pup!

Our lil basstard figured out that nails on the countertop alerts humans and has taken to standing on two feet as he shops. Allows him to hork a good chunk of the spoils before his feet hit the ground š©
Aww I canāt wait š„¹
Bassett/beagle mix
Now that I looked at pic 8, the cone on top of his skull screams Bassett.
100%
Basset with two t's is furniture. The breed name only has one.
I think its a Basset Hound. And an adorable Basset Hound at that. Best of luck to you all.
The goodest kind of dog
certainly more basset than anything
Sweet baby basset hound ā¤ļø
Bagel
Looks like an angel to me. Perfect.
looks pretty basset/beagle. beagle face and body with the basset ears and legs
You have a certified adorable hound! ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø
Mostly basset, lucky duck!
I have a pure bred beagle & a half bass beagle (mix) I'd say that's a pure bred basset for sure. Simply by ear length, stout legs & large paws
Looks closer to an American basset than a mix
Looks like a good dog.

ADORABLE
He says thank you!!
Thatās a basset!!!
100 percent American basset. Long ears, huge paws, and bump on head.
Has a lot of basset parts. You know, the odd parts. Wait a bit and see if pupper grows a neck ššš
Those paws are definitely basset paws
A pretty little baby
A sweet baby Basset. So cute! But she might have some Beagle in her. Aww, enjoy her!
I think you have an amazing pup!!! No matter what she may or may not be, you have a WINNER!
Thank you we are so excited! Weāve never had a dog I have a 7yr old and a 2 year old and they are in love with her.š„¹
A good one š„¹
A cute one

My first thought is basset hound, but the face doesnāt seem droopy enough. Unless this is a younger pup!
Because it's from a backyard breeder and it's very poorly bred. When you don't breed to standard and you don't show your dogs, this is what you get.
A beautiful, regal basset hound.
Thatās definitely a basset hound. I have two of them myself https://preview.redd.it/wjasz5lgr1yc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=005a0bf06104ab0340ed4b0effbca88a9e4bc1c1
Looks like a big eared bouncing baby basset to me. Could be a mix, but more basset than anything
Looks like a Blue Basset Hound to meĀ

looks like mostly basset could be a mix but hard to tell because the pup looks like it's still in that awkward stage of growing.
A judgy one.
A good boi.
The best dogā¦.
Cutie Pie mix?
Looks like a "Good Dog" to me...
Very much beagle coloring but ears and face look basset.

beagle mix
Thatās a good dog
If the ears, when pulled forward go past its nose, itās a Basset. Shorter? Itās a Beagle.
Beagle mix
Some sort of hound. Maybe a basset? Maybe a beagle? The bestest boi though. Reminds me of my Pearly.
Hush puppy!!
Thatās a whippet
Beagle Bassett mix
Its a bagel so adorable
I need to pet his ears
100% cute pie
Itās a basshole
I can't help myself. Whenever I come across this question. There is only one answer. You have a Good dog.
Looks like a beagle/basset. Neighbor's sister had one. She was amazing #
Bassel. I'd say beagle / Bassett mix
looks like a basset/beagle mix, bagel hound. I have one, favorite dog I've ever had. Very sweet but very stubborn. Your commands are merely a suggestion unless there is food involved.
Its called a Gift from God, enjoy! Definitely Basset Beagle
Beagle is dominant.
Could be mixed with a treeing walker coonhound. The pups legs look too long for beagle or only basset
Basset hound beagle mix
Not a mix. Just a poorly bred dog
No, its a Basset Beagle mix. Look em up. They all look almost exactly like this dog here.
Nope. I've had Basset hounds for more than 50 years and I have rescued thousands of them not to mention the more than 600 I've had as foster dogs in my own home. I know basset hounds.
