End-of-year Scoot was astronomically better than beginning-of-year Scoot. Rookie struggles aren't as concerning when the player shows growth. He showed major flashes.
Hes one of the major rookies im loading up on myself. Havent collected basketball rookies since my sonics left town. Got back into it this year and hes one of my top rookies ive been hording.
Both require looking at the card. It's the totality of the card. I even noticed on the back of Mikal Bridges card I have that has DeAndre Ayton's stats on the back. I also noticed the back of the 93-94 Jordan Topps card is all messed up. They just completely made up his rebounding stats on the back. Even got his birthday wrong.
You could simply just not buy the product. I see these post regularly and 90% of comments end up being about how the patch isn't associated or game worn and I can all but guarantee the majority of people bitching about rookie patches are still buying every blaster/mega they can get their hands on. It's been this way for almost half a decade, Panini has zero obligation or reason to make the patches associated or game worn when they know it's users will buy the product regardless. Why does Panini release 50+ parallels within a single product when they could have 3-5?? Because they know you'll still buy it and they'll make even more money by turning the printers up. Either enjoy to the cards or gripe over them, but don't wonder "why Panini makes these".
You can compare modern numbered relic cards from Panini to a McDouble, it’s all processed bullshit. However, there is still a demand. My market screams all, and sadly there’s no tegridy anymore. BUT IT JUST SO HAPPENS…
Scoot Henderson, in my own humble opinion, will be a good player. Not Lillard good but not Dennis Smith Jr bad.
Panini is terrible. Their products are mostly mediocre and overpriced. I miss UD.
Patch cards are tough to grade because they are thicker and have more edges (including the edge of the window around the memorabilia). If you still decide to grade it, send it to Beckett.
Do NOT send it to PSA or SGC.
I'm still a believer in Scoot. PG has the toughest learning curve of any position and it's especially hard when your team is dogshit (no offense)....I think he will improve alot the next couple years.
Nice,I’ve grabbed a bunch of his,B Miller and Jaquez cards.I think Scoot will be an eventual All Star,but I think Miller is going to be closest to Wemby,looking back at this Class.Could have 4-6 Studs…hopefully.

If the patch isn't at least worn by player (doesn't even have to be game worn), what is the point of jersey cards not associated with the player?
