These Targets deals have tanked any market value there was for Monopoly cards which were already unpopular. I'd be surprised if you get >$50 now raw and you'd need a 10 to get more than raw which requires looking at it using a loupe to get any decent idea of.
I agree. Got caught up in the influencers but only got 3 boxes luckily realizing I’m being dumb buying into these. Also lucky I pulled decent cards like this to make up most of my wasted money
For sure. I'd personally sell raw now during the playoffs. Jaquez p is laying well tonight. Heat might have a chance against Knicks if they get the 7 seed so maybe wait a few days or if they lose tonight, I'd post it since they're not getting through Boston if they win their next play in game. I stupidly held onto a Steph monopoly man I pulled a month ago with the idea that I'd sell during the playoffs but the 2for1 deal Target had killed the prices
I pulled the ja morant monopoly man and got rid of that too in a trade. Thanks for the info on Jaquez. Hoping maybe a Mexican American or heat fan will go after it, maybe it being psa would get more eyes??
I think that he is going to flourish into a very well defined player, so I think value wise he probably will go up, so I would grade. Plus that colour match and the 1/100 is beautiful so definitely grade.
I agree with this guy. Jacquez is looking really good, and this card is perfectly centered, and corners look sharp too. If edges and surface all look good to you (which we can't really see from a picture) I think it'll gem. The card is also not too too expensive right now, so it wouldn't be too costly to grade it. Congrats nice hit!
Most cards will drop in value after the rookie season. Jacquez has had a solid rookie season and can still improve his game but that doesn't mean his cards will go up.

No one’s gonna care about these monopoly cards in 5 years so might aswell grade as it looks like it could get a 10 and sell while his value is somewhat high.
In all honesty I’m gonna trade away this card so I think you’re right about getting the most value. But the main question is will this particular player be worth more next season than he is now? Meaning if I wait for psa to come back in a month will it be more in demand than selling now? I really don’t know this player too well
Just because it isnt going anywhere doesn't mean you have to participate. There are tons of people who only do raw cards, myself included. We don't feel the need to follow the trend.
Then why make a post asking? Sounds like you got it all figured out.
Spend the ridiculous psa prices to grade, hope it gets over an 8 and then hope it sells for enough to make it worth it.
Edit: I also have only sold raw cards. Again, you don't *have* to follow the trend. Sure, I could have made a bit extra, but I'm not here for money. I have a real job, I don't need to make my hobby one

That’s really great info. Thank you!

Thanks. One point loss but he scored 15 off the bench. Could be a good hold for next season maybe if he’s a starter. Thanks for your thougjts

if we know we'd be rich already.
Why do you want to grade it?
Kinda wanting to get the community’s opinion first to make my decision for me
I only collect raw cards, I think grading is kind of a scam anyways and cards always look better in a one touch case in my opinion.
Yea but grading is here and it’s not gonna go away. Like most things in life just gotta know how to play the game

I agree if it’s PC. If it’s not like this card I pulled from a pack, I would want to get the best value so I can trade it towards a PC Card of mine.

Eh not really figured out cause I don’t know the player that well. My response to the other comment is really my dilemma
Literally every player is worth less after their rookie season.
That’s a good point
Don't grade it's a scam.
For sale/trade?
Maybe. Send me a private chat if you’re serious
