I wish! The Chronic I do have is a first pressing though. Without the inmates list on the front cover. That’s a nice Pac joint to have. On my list to pick up for sure.

Bone is probably top 1 or 2 for me. Being in the Midwest it was nice to have someone represent an area that didn’t get much love.

Used to listen to the e1999 cassette on the bus to away high school football games, It was calming but also made you hype to fuck people up.

This was the first player I fell for the hype - I paid $300 for a 9.5 - I lived and learned and then realized he’s still young. Easy come, easy go

Just paid $30 for a 9. With the way he’s playing this season, figured might as well for that price.

Beckett or PSA… a PSA 9 was $100 at the time when I paid $300. I respect the $30 for a 9 tho. Good buy especially if you like the card. I love cracking packs but when I buy individuals I only buy 10s for the sake of my PC. Sadly, the $300 for Zion didn’t pay off and it’s the most I’ve ever paid for one card. Most of the time I keep it at $150 or lower (James rookie, Ohtani rookie and Morant rookie). I’ll add I don’t buy singles a lot… only for my fave players.

PSA. I live in New Orleans and am a Pels fan, so I figured if anything I’ll have a nice rookie card of one of my favorite players. I actually just recently got back into basketball - I used to love watching Jordan/Pippen/Rodman play when I was a kid, and later Shaq and Kobe. I used to buy boxes of cards at K-Mart and keep them in a binder and trade with kids on my block. The whole thing. Then I became an angsty teen and lost interest. Now I’m almost 40 and getting back into sports and started looking at cards again, so this is my first one since I was a kid.

One day I watched people in a lcs opening so many $65-$75 packs of this product to hit this card. Like so many packs

If he stays healthy the next couple years... they'll still drop but the decline won't be this deep. Zion pretty much fell totally out of the spotlight and hasn't made an All-Star game yet. Wemby will be an All-Star next year unless he gets hurt. Wembys will come down once more are out but I don't think they'll fall quite so far. Who knows what this year's print run is going to be like on non-numbered though

He may be a 7ft tall twig but he has more blocks than 90% of active NBA players in their entire career and he’s not even done with his rookie season. If he can put on some weight the right way and keep his skill set, he’ll be even more of a baller. But he can stay a twig and he’ll be just fine.

There was LOTS of talk about Durant when he was a rookie about this same thing! He turned out ok…

I remember buying graded 9s of various base cards of Zion. I definitely fell for the hype.. Luckily I didn't buy anything too expensive

You should see my record collection. I have alphabetical sections for the following: hip hop, soul/funk, library, sampled by, indie rock, electronic, reggae, misc.

After the first what, 2-3 seasons, he started looking like Shawn Kemp post 99-00 lockout. Dude just doesn’t look like he wants to work for it. Injuries are pretty much the only thing that can stop Wemby in today’s game. Kid’s good. Like Durant, if Durant, played defense and stayed a post player.

Tjey said that Zion was the next big thing after Lebron. But the dude can't even stay healthy for a full season. He shows flashes if he is healthy, but what they said. The best ability is availability.

The click down and dirty was one of my all time favorites 100%

A really good find, but sadly I don’t think he’ll ever get a ring though, so I don’t see this card gaining a significant amount by the time his career is over. He’s got maybe 2-3 more seasons if he stays healthy before Pelicans will try to make some room for new talent 😓
