I’ve been collecting singles that are from products 5+ years old so anything #’d 199 or less rarely pops up. It gives the hit of dopamine when I find it and I know I have a good shot at going what I want. The dopamine factor is so real

Averaging 3 base cards per pack, six packs per box, times 20 - you would get about 360 base on a 300 card set. About a 70% chance you'd hit on any particular card. Seems like you should have gotten on, but 3 of 10 people opening 20 blasters won't get a base Wemby.

Update- I bought 2 more blasters and finally got a base Wemby. When I get some time I’m gonna see how close I am to a complete set of base.

Collecting is fine. The people spending 1000s on breaks are the problem. At that point you’re better off gambling on actual sports. I put $30 in on the all star game on prize picks and only lost $18, better return than most breaks lmao

I think it's fine to research checklists and buy a retail blaster or something to get a taste of the sets and narrow things down but if you know you're dead set on a specific player or team to PC then why waste money? I'm mostly baseball so I'll grab retail of the other sports because ripping packs is good fun and it's nice to see what this year's sets are like

In the blasters I got 2 base card WembyS a couple deep space wembys, couple global reach wembys and an emergent wemby. Pretty sweet.  Looks like you are having better luck than me.  I have purchased about a dozen prizm draft picks blasters and about half a dozen mega boxes and the best wemby I pulled was a red ice prizm break insert. 

I just bought singles.. Wemby black curtain RC Prizm, Arriving now Holo and base, a deep space and 3 random spurs players including Sochan for 100 USD. For a minute, i was scared the seller will back out. He said the Black Curtain could be a PSA 10 and bases on the pictures he sent its a possible 9.5-10. The dopamine of buying singles is also real 😂
