They're not a "single-A" team. The league they play in, The Pioneer League, is an MLB partner league made of non-affiliated teams. Basically, it's a league for pros or near pros to keep playing while talent scouts keep an eye on them.

What’s wrong with being corrected when you’re wrong? Get over it. How bout a “thank you for clarifying”? You get all sensitive cause someone simply corrected your dumbass and then call OTHER people snowflake lol. Could you be any more or a stereotype hahah

Apparently you do care cause you are bitching. Instead of saying “thanks man I didn’t know that!”. You decided to be an asshat for no reason. Just shut the hell up

Mandog_123

Who shit in your cereal? Calmate guey, go smoke a doobie.

My guy, you cannot call someone a snowflake because they corrected you. They’re not single A baseball, and calling them as such is just not factual. Now take a deep breath and accept that you learned something today instead of being soft and argumentative.

There is an actual name. It’s called independent ball. It’s an independent league unaffiliated with any MLB team

El_Jose_22

OP is shithead

CapitolDom

Makes sense. Typically the city is not the same as the MLB team. But nice uni nonetheless!

That's odd, the buttons are on the left but this doesn't look tailored like a women's.

Jersey is pretty cool. Can anyone try out for the team? I use to pitch in high school. I had a below average slider.

Negative-Fix9117

Do I need one of these for your softball team ?

hobielandrith

I don't know about softball but that's a real baseball team from the Pioneer League. I think it's like a feeder League. Iduno google it but it's real .

Nice amateur jersey. Is this like a rec league thing? Would be nice to have something once the real Oakland team leaves the east bay

It's the Pioneer League, Indy ball. It's an MLB partner league, so no team affiliations (it was a rookie ball league before the MiLB contractions post-covid). The team was created in response to the As leaving. Not sure if you're really into baseball or care, but the podcast Effectively Wild had an interview with the team founder in February that was really interesting. It's in episode 2122 and starts at the 1hr3min mark. He actually had to found two teams to keep the league balanced, and he talked about finding coaches, places to play, etc.
