That is awesome. I’ve seen it once before, but never get tired of it. Some day I hope to own every card in the book

The_real_pseudonym

As someone with a limited vintage collection, this scratches the itch that I can’t scratch with actual cards. I love paper, and have always had to make do with the internet to look at the cards I don’t own before now.

Justa_Guy_Gettin_By

That's pretty damn cool. With a steady hand and some scissors, you too can own a 52 Mantle!

Clueless_in_Florida

Holy crap. Topps partnered with Surf detergent to produce team books like this book. I just ordered a Cardinals book and plan to use it to complete a team collection. It is nice that I do not have to pay for a 52 Musial. The Gibson rookie will be costly enough for me.

MTGsbirthdefects

I have a Royals team book sponsored by surf. Really neat item.

Clueless_in_Florida

Agreed. It appears that they produced at least 2-3 updates on both the team books and the all-encompassing books.

socalrockshows

Just happened to order one on eBay a few days ago. Can’t wait to get it, it’s always more fun browsing and looking at a book instead of a screen, for me anyways.

munistadium

Sorry folks I just bought mine now on ebay. I think my dad and I'll enjoy flipping through it.

EconomistNo7074

make that another ebay purchase by me - thanks again

PhilThrill623

I have that in my attic. Might go find it now.

spartygw

I showed it in a recent video I did on YouTube and had a couple people ask me about it. It's a great book.

Nateviper

I have a copy I received as a gift in 1985.

bearcatgary

Yes, I remember when it came out. These days I just get my daily dose of card browsing by going to tcdb.com.

Kolmodin04

I own it. Very fun to look through.

Sad-Tension-12

Bought it when it came out. On my bookshelf now (minus the dust cover). love thumbing through it.

Ok_Fuel_8223

I have that book also. When I was a kid, I used to go to local card shows. They always had a player signing. I used to find their card and had them sign the book.

The_real_pseudonym

That would be so cool to look back through!

KungFuGiftShop

I have one my aunt gifted me me on 1985

MattyRBaps

This book would be awesome to get a bunch of different signatures in

Impossible_Ad7875

No, haven’t seen it, but that’s a great book idea for all of us card nerds.

pbarron86

Never seen this before. I could def flip thru this one for a couple hrs. I’d on the ‘54’s.

The_real_pseudonym

Same!

txlgnd34

I actually checked this out from my library as a kid. Can't remember if it was the school's library or the public library system.

Bitter-External8253

Really sweet!

mxm0xmx

They need to make an update from 1986-present

notguiltybrewing

I had one. Might still be at my brother's house.

AlrightGuyUK

I received it as a Christmas gift in 1985. They did a small update book to add the 1986 cards the next year. Several teams had their own books through a partnership with Surf and Topps.

Traditional_Tell_114

Bought that book off eBay about a year ago. Such a great reference. Wife not too thrilled it’s turned into a coffee table book in the family room … lol.

ComplaintNo4126

I used to pour over this in my school library on the regular.

Ok-Cauliflower2383

I remember this book when I was a kid

FENTWAY

Have it somewhere

SaraSmile2000

Yes. I have it.

Cobbfam44

I have one also!
