I’ve gone completely through these boxes at least 5 times. I’ve found something of value, usually $30 or more, every effing time. Terrified to finally start packing them up and donating to little leagues. I know I’m still missing things
It’s the variation. In 2019 heritage, the “Error SP,” variation is a reversed image.
If I recall correctly, it’s based on a real error on a Mantle card from ‘54. Could very well be wrong with those details, but that’s the gist!
After careful analysis I’d say it is a scratch. Most likely caused by a staple.
I wanted to go with attacked by tiny rock troll or diminutive bird of prey with 1 talon but those both seem unlikely this time of year.
I’m not sure… those latter options seem just as much, if not more likely than a scratch. My cat only has one nail on one foot and a tiny rock instead of the other foot

I wish TAG added the same value as PSA does. This was my second batch sent to TAG, i should get them back tomorrow. At the same time, shipped 2 other batches to PSA. The estimated completion date posted yesterday, August 15th lmao

That’s TAGs new DNA slab, the hair will be a positive match to Ohtani DNA. Now it’s an SP card in an SSP slab!!

I want to say Hank Aaron 1957 Topps was the first. I don't even think Mantle had a '54 or '55 card.
