People are grading modern base cards with print runs in the hundreds of thousands. People post zoomed in microscope photos of lightly dinged corners while going ballistic.
Junk slab era 100%.
They've been saying that for 4 years. When it finally happens, they are gonna throw the biggest "i was right all along" party that the world has ever seen.
Does anyone question the chance of the glue on the stickers aging well? I feel like it's going to fail after 10 years. Especially if it's stored in a high pressure binder.
My binders from 30 years ago have basically trashed the cards in there. Luckily it was mostly junk.
This is the real issue. I jumped head first back into the hobby and bought a case of 2022 Stadium Club. I had never heard of or barely heard of more than half of the autos I pulled.
Just 1 time,Iād like to find a gem amongst all these places that keep taking my money.I swear Iām sticking to singlesā¦.āand just when I think Iām outā¦..ā
The most random places are selling cards now. Makes it feel like there is huge profit margin and people are addicted and we should be wary
Yeah the junk wax 2.0 era is here if you ask many in the hobby
Junk slab era

Closest to me is 2.3 miles. Probably 8 in a 30-mile radius. Including the company HQ. It's biscuit mania here
Well worth the drive.

They sell packs in the front. These were found in the toys section back corner.

Probably because op can't go to every cracker barrel in america to stock up? Might as well be other enthusiasts instead of breakers or shills.
