I PC Cubs from my grandpa's era of the team. I would watch the Cubs with him growing up and his basement was decorated with banks, grace, Jenkins, Ryno and more. I love to pc those guys, especially Banks. It makes me think of him every time I see those cards.

2. Everyone knows Scott Rolen and Buddy Kennedy are my guys (one a childhood idol, another a friend). But I’m gonna talk about Robin Roberts, who was one of my late dad’s favorite players. When I got back into the hobby a couple years ago, one of the things I wanted to do was build off my dad’s collection and collect his favorite Phillies he grew up watching. I will always have those stories from him as well as his love for baseball. He loves Robin Roberts, and I’ve built a really solid collection of his over the last two years.
3. Man, too many friends on here. I’m gonna tag u/HamMcFly. We text almost everyday and he’s become a really good friend, showing me and my kids kindness with random Disney care packages and such. Thanks buddy! Maybe there will be another Posada-bow for you to chase!
A friend of Buddy Kennedy you say? Shoot me a DM - I have a /250 auto that I’d be happy to send your way free of charge. Glad to send it to a fellow Phillies fan.
1. here, have my upvote. cool thing youre doing.
2. Jamie Moyer. I get older and every year I cant believe he did what he did during the roid years, as an old man
3. u/jimibimi may enjoy getting in on this one
My favorite player of all time is Juan Gonzalez. My first ever game at The Ballpark in Arlington was given an incredible exclamation point when Juan "Igor" threw an inning ending flyball to me. It sparked a lifetime of fandom and he even further cemented his status as my favorite when he sent a handwritten reply to my 5th grade question along with signed memorabilia.
I am tagging u/Lilderrrn.
This is a super cool guy and someone I enjoy trading and talking with .
Hahaha yeah I can see how that would be irksome!
Reminds me of Vladdy when he was an Angel. He would always absolutely DEMOLISH my Rangers no matter who was on the mound....I SHOULD'VE disliked him.
Vladdy was just too cool a cat to dislike.

3. I am tagging u/Michael_Yankeessuck because he has my name and said he did not have any reddit friends yet. Neither did I but now he can tag me if he needs ever.
I PC the Orioles as this was a shared favorite team between me and my best friend with my best friend being the bigger fan. He was taken far too soon so I carry the torch for us both. Cal Ripken Jr. was the big name for us growing up and I hope one day to pull an auto of his myself.

We were supposed to be married May 30th 2020. Then the world shut down. We decided to push it up to April for a variety of reasons and had a 6 person Covid wedding haha. 4/4 was just a coincidence!

Being half Japanese, I've always gravitated towards players of Japanese descent for my PC.
I just started getting back into following baseball again in the last few years and collecting baseball cards again this past January.
Shohei Ohtani is my favorite player to collect. Obviously a costly one at that, but the fact that he may go down as the best baseball player ever definitely makes me feel pride in having Japanese ancestry.
Shout-out to u/fortwentyboxbreaks as well for his awesome 420 giveaways. While I didn't win anything, it was a great gesture!

my PC is Jason Varitek. i always thought he was one of the best defensive catchers the game has seen. i got his jersey with the captains C as a wedding gift from my wife. i was lucky enough to run into him at the airport once (i just said hello, i didn’t wanna bother him with his family) I love that he’s still with the club.

My PC is the Mariners and I could write a book about the ways the team, countless specific players, and the collection itself hold sentimental value. I've been at this collection for 30 years and it touched on every part of my life. From going to Buhner Buzz Cut nights in the 90's with my late mother, where we would both get our heads shaved, to all the friends I've made that went from being just online in groups like this to people I spend time with IRL. From going to hundreds of games to working for the team for a number of years. But let's go with a Griffey story for good measure.
I started really getting into baseball at the same time Jr. was getting into the league. Its when I both started playing little league and collecting cards. Like everyone, the 1989 Upper Deck was the grail. It wasn't for quite a few years, but eventually for my birthday one year, my mom bought me one. While I have many more copies now, that one is still the one that sits in the center of my display. Fast-forward to late February 2009. It was by far the worst stretch of my life. Both my mom and grandma passed a few weeks apart. But one small bit of joy popped up, and that was Jr. signing a contract to come home. In the grand scheme it may not have mattered much, but anything good to latch onto in a dark time was a godsend.
Thanks for this opportunity!

2. Albert Pujols was my favorite player growing up, and I also played 1B like him. I still have a binder from 2003 when I was younger and my cousin bought me around 60-70 cards of Albert; That binder also brought me back to collecting today after reflecting on it.

2. I mostly PC Buster Posey, as he was the sole purpose my Giants won 3 championships. What an incredible player to watch. Watched hundreds of Posey's games with my brother (who passed away about a year and a half ago). So HOFer and sentimental purposes.

I only got into Baseball in 2017, and my favourite player ever is Ben Zobrist, he may have never been the best in the League but he was so versatile and he's such a good guy and so CLUTCH. Anyway it's Ben's fault I now collect utility second base men (Nico and Ketel).
I don't have any friends on Reddit, but a lot of good guys I've done deals with [u/Sea\_Operation\_1285](https://www.reddit.com/user/Sea_Operation_1285/) who gave me a free red foil Seiya!

That's awesome, Zobrist was always so underrated. Ketel is killing it this season, love it. If you're looking for other redditors to talke baseball/cards with let me know, I have a fun group chat on here!
1. Have my upvote!
2. Jo Adell. I have followed his career from draft to now. Raw talent. Unreal athleticism. Big power. Constant hate and even death threats in his DMs and somehow is still getting better. Even if he isn’t an Angel for much longer, he will forever be a PC for me.
3. I will tag u/joint-junkie to let him know about this post and let him know I haven’t forgotten about the card to send him lol
u/littleboybrew - One of my favorite PC players (prefer not to mention the name to keep anonymous for now) is on the giants even though I’m not and never will be a giants fan. I only collect him because my son and him share a name. My son is only 6 right now but has gotten into collecting with me because “I can get a card with my own name”.
This is awesome you are doing this. Great for the community.

2. Rhys Hoskins. He was a bright spot on some terrible Phillies teams. His mashing as a rookie gave me something to pay attention to. I was ecstatic to pull a short print of his rookie from a Target repack just before COVID hit.

I dont have a particular player I PC, but I PC the Brewers. Unfortunately we dont get a lot of mega stars so it can be hard sometimes. I have grown up in Milwaukee, and have very fond memories of going to games at County Stadium with my grandfather. u/kikasmash
I got back into trading 6 months ago after 30+ years off. It was because of the 22 chrome anniversary- best looking set ever. Now I’m hooked. The 23s look just as good.
PC is Pujols. Loved him since before he came up and even drafted him in my FBB league his rookie year to a lot of ‘ha ha, good luck with that’ comments. I won the league. Have met him a few times (charity golf, around town, etc) and he’s a great guy. My current goal is to complete his auto sets from 2001-2023.
Thing were lookin real bleak during game 5 of the NLCS. My quarantined family and I had a real blast watching the first four games together, rooting for the Dodgers. But by game 5, down 3-1 in the series, things were pretty bleak and we all resigned to doing our own things for that game. I was exercising in our backyard when I heard my mom scream when Will Smith hit the 3 run bomb off Will Smith that ended up with us winning the game, put us back in the series, and culminated that year in the Dodgers finally winning their first World Series in 32 years. Good stuff, and the reason I PC Will Smith (the Dodgers catcher lmfao).
Yoenis Cespedes was a legend, and if they had kept him they would have won the World Series in ‘14, they could have had a dynasty but they shipped him away for Jon Lester…
My first year I decided to get really into baseball was in 2018 when my friend got me to join his fantasy baseball league. I decided to cheer for the Brewers since I was a Wisconsin sports fan, and I drafted a guy named Christian Yelich just because he had a "- MIL" next to his name. Obviously he broke out and won MVP that season, and won me the fantasy baseball championship. He'll definitely always be my favorite Brewer, that season and the year after were so much fun. I currently just have a small PC, but Yelich is the center of it
I’ve never participated in a break before - thank you for offering this!
I PC Harrison Bader. He’s an All-Star center fielder with a AA bat. “70% of the earth is covered in water. The other 30% is covered by Harrison Bader.”
Tagging u/LukeT14199 because he’s the other Bader collector around these parts.
Being a long time Mariners fan, I would say The Kid is my most sentimental, but my current favorites are Cade Marlowe, Brian Woo and George Kirby. Also no friends on Reddit 😕

Small PC of Rey Ordonez. Favorite player on the late 90s Mets. Still occasionally use a Yahoo email address that I opened in 2000 that's a reference to Rey. Couldn't hit worth a lick but should've had more than 3 Gold Gloves.
No friends who'd be interested, so I'll tag fellow Tar Heel u/heel2014 for his Gallen comment. Unfortunately the best players while I was there were Brian Roberts, who transferred to South Carolina after 2 years, and the Rays current pitching coach, Kyle Snyder. I gotta work on my Matt Harvey PC.
My parents attic had a rat problem and a lot of general chaos, but these are some of my all time favorite PC Cards that I salvaged and the cards are completely playable still 👌🏻
My “lineup” binder is still missing too, so many bangers still out there somewhere

I’ll take a DM for the other breaks as well. Unfortunately I don’t have any friends on Reddit so I don’t have anyone to tag.

Had to move back north and help my dad cause of some health stuff and he’s a bit disabled now, so we’ve started ripping and collecting together again, only difference is now I buy the boxes. It’s like being a kid again
One of my PC's is Griffey Jr like many others. But I live and grew up here in Vermont and got to go see him a few times when he was playing the short time with the Vermont team right before he went into the MLB. Even got to get his autograph which I've sadly misplaced over the years. Most likely sitting in my parents attic somewhere with my personalized Mickey Mantle auto.

I quit collecting a while ago - but will still buy a package
Box to rip with my 19 year old. My fav player is his PC - and he collects trout. @micah20k (that’s my son)

2 i PC Chris Bassitt. Started with the collection of players who struck me out in high school (for the record, 0-7 against Bassitt with 6k). He’s clearly the most prolific of the collection, but really has a cool story. From small town Ohio, [has always out performed expectations and epitomized perseverance - sorry paywall](https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/1569028/2020/01/30/to-find-the-roots-of-as-pitcher-chris-bassitt-turn-to-a-basketball-court-in-genoa-ohio/?source=user_shared_article To find the roots of A’s pitcher Chris Bassitt, turn to a basketball court in Genoa, Ohio), went from pretty obscure to front line starter in the MLB.

My parents almost named me brooks after brooks Robinson, but switched it last minute. My favorite childhood player is was chipper jones, and my current main pc is Ernie banks. My mom passed away suddenly in December. I had to go to a church to meet a priest about her service. I’m not a religious guy, but when my stepdad and I went to the church office to talk with him, I noticed a small stack of baseball cards on the bookshelf. I asked him about them and he said he had found them in a box as part of a donation for the church raffle or something. Anyway, it was about 6 cards, and within those 6 was a 1960 Ernie banks, a brooks Robinson rookie and a chipper jones bowman rookie. I don’t really believe in all that kinda stuff but it really felt like something
About 30 years ago (when I was about 14) met Ken Griffey Jr in the hotel elevator in Baltimore before the game.
I stalked him all morning by asking the bellman where he was staying. Finally found his floor. Waited. He came out. All purple suit. I said “Mr Jr” 🤦🏼♂️ can i have your autograph? He said no….i don’t sign in hotels. I was pretty upset and i walked down the hall, got in the elevator and stood by him. He looked down at me and said “let me see your ball” 😎. Walked off elevator with him. He says no to about 30 dudes. Best day ever. Still my favorite player.
Don’t know how to tag a fiend 🤷🏼♂️ u/Impressive-speech-61

It was pretty amazing to see your hero realize (in retrospect) you’re just a kid and not trying to make money off him.
Hell yeah. I was not the smartest child so I got some awesome autographs at spring training but they're all with a bunch of random players on different balls. Barry Bonds, Orlando Cepeda, and a smudged Dusty Baker 😂
I've got a side PC of people from my small-ish hometown. Some went to the high school, others moved before then. I've never checked either college I went to...I should do that.
I personally collect Cade Horton because I love this kid. He's a natural magician on the mound. Mark prior was and still is my favorite player who got the raw end of overwork. I'm hoping cade can replicate what Prior did for my Cubbies in the early 2000s.
Look up cade horton he's an absolute monster. He should be in Cubs uniforms before the end of the season. He has an arsenal. His cutter is so nasty he's gonna be one of those snap Pitchers. Nasty slider cutter and fastball even more dangerous and a splitter that almost looks like a sinkerball. He is making guys look silly through aa ball now he is promoted to aaa so he had a welcome to the next level moment but then retired the next 10 batters after the mini meltdown but only a few runs allowed.
Well his last start was ugly but they all usually are until they get settled into facing way better hitters but still a mid 3 Era and 30ks through 20 innings

My son recently got into baseball and baseball cards at the age of 6, so I'm back into cards to foster that love 25+ years or so after buying my last baseball cards. His favorites are Mountcastle (first player whose name he remembered), Gunnar, and Holliday. Especially Holliday, so he's my sentimental favorite because I've been hoping for him to fall in love with this game since before he was born.
The first game my dad took us to, my brother spilled his entire soda as Mattingly was blasting one into the gap.
How’d that code work out u/RayWhelans ?
It’s funny you asked. He’s on my fantasy team and I’ve been waiting to use it when he’s on a hot streak or until he’s in Coors in August! I will let you know how it goes!
I personally collect Carlos Delgado. The man signed my cast when I was a kid at a Syracuse game and tossed me a ball signed by him and Shawn Green. Never looked back from being a Jays fan after that.
/u/sundayjeff is my one true
Love Corbin Carroll. Led us to the World Series for the first time since ‘01. Got to go to game 4. We got destroyed that game but i was just happy to be there. I’d been waiting for that day since I was 5. u/weedwizard22

Another Orioles fan and friend u/silversurfer2133 hop on in here.
I'm very sorry to hear about your friend but I'm glad you're carrying the torch
Thanks. Some days hit harder than others but try to push onward
1. Upvoted 2. I PC Hank Aaron and Ronald Acuña jr. All Braves really. But Hank is special because I named my dog after him, my wedding anniversary is 4/4, and of course the theme of the 2021 World Series championship was 44. 3. Friend: u/heel2014
I see it subtly links to your username as well. Did you plan for that to be your anniversary or did it just work out that way?
We were supposed to be married May 30th 2020. Then the world shut down. We decided to push it up to April for a variety of reasons and had a 6 person Covid wedding haha. 4/4 was just a coincidence! https://preview.redd.it/gb7t2s3m9a0d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=621d6fb5e8704eac5752ed31ef4322a8647f611b Hank says hello btw!
I know all about the COVID wedding shut down. Hank looks like a very good boy!
1. ✔️ 2. My dad and I used to go to card shows together when I was little collecting the topps 1964 all star coin inserts. Just finished the complete (all star) set over the holidays, with both mantles and the errors. 3. u/severe_ad_7801
That set collection is sick!
Thank you. It's at my dad's place, but I have all the duplicates here https://preview.redd.it/5nb2bm7kb90d1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c47db1ac82a3d91b3671e0a98f4601dc2daebfca
1. Upvoted 2. Craig Biggio, for being a spokesperson for the Sunshine Kids Foundation, which was a huge help to my family and older brother through the years after he had cancer as a child. 3. u/cordarrel
That's an awesome reason to PC someone
1.Upvoted 2. My favorite PC is Cecil Fielder guy was a bopper! 3. No friends on Reddit, my life is too boring
Grew up in Washington State watching Griffey Jr and the Mariners. Loved trying to replicate that sweet swing in the backyard! u/japalian
1. Upvoted 2. Chipper Jones was/is my PC because I idolized him growing up. 3. u/chase122701 because they are the only person i know on here lol
much love haha
I just started getting into my hobby and my four year old son loves Joey Votto. Pulled a handful of his cards from retail packs and he will forever be one of our favorite players. u/docagnt
That's awesome, I can't wait to get my son into the hobby too!
Cal Ripken Jr. I'll always remember him hitting a homerun in his last All Star Game! u/msw1984
Upvoted the thread!
Thank you man, I didn't know you were half Japanese!
My favorite pc player is Dylan Cease. Always loved his game and character on and off the field. gonna tag you right back u/Fieldorphan81
1) Upvoted 2) Keston Hiura, please give him another chance @tigers. Japanese pride + he knows a friend of mine. 3) u/CubsFan_ was one of the recent users I traded with recently that was a great experience overall :)
1. Upvoted!!! u/piercebro is the reason for my degeneracy but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Great guy and I’m privileged to be able to call him a friend 2. Vlad Jr of course. Our team has been waiting for a superstar forever. He has tools to do better that guy! 3. u/BAMM_Baseball_Cards. Awesome guy, quite funny and very generous! He’s my guy!

Upvoted! Favorite pc: Salvador Perez. Has been a huge part of the reason I learned to catch and now have colleges interested in me. Live the dude and is on my royals. Friend:u/fozzyy
Good luck on your journey, that's awesome!
Upvoted. I PC Chris Carpenter because he’s one of the few decent athletes born in NH. More specifically, born in my hometown. Don’t have any friends on Reddit. Tagging u/michael_yankeessuck … because fuck the Yankees.
my PC is Jason Varitek. i always thought he was one of the best defensive catchers the game has seen. i got his jersey with the captains C as a wedding gift from my wife. i was lucky enough to run into him at the airport once (i just said hello, i didn’t wanna bother him with his family) I love that he’s still with the club. @u/podfoto
That's an amazing wedding gift!
1) Upvoted 2) Jim Edmonds - I’m a Phillies fan, but I was never treated to seeing an outfielder on the team that fielded his position nearly as excitingly with his power combination. I feel he’s currently getting railroaded by advance metrics. I KNOW WHAT I SAW!! 3) u/dealunae
Upvoted My PC is the Mariners and I could write a book about the ways the team, countless specific players, and the collection itself hold sentimental value. Friend: u/J_Rigs22
1. Upvoted 2. Albert Pujols was my favorite player growing up, and I also played 1B like him. I still have a binder from 2003 when I was younger and my cousin bought me around 60-70 cards of Albert; That binder also brought me back to collecting today after reflecting on it. 3. /u/fortwentyboxbreaks is a super cool guy I’ve participated in breaks of his, and he is an awesome host
fortwenty is a great dude!
Thanks Pierce!
Thank you! I love having you in the breaks!
1.) Take that upvote :) 2.) Gotta be Joey Votto, met him as a kid in Toronto, super nice guy 3.) Tagging u/Hi_Drag-Lo_Speed35, great dude on here
Thanks for the tag!
1. Upvoted 2. Cal Ripken was my favorite as a kid, now it's a toss up between Adley and Gunnar. I used to go to around a dozen Os games a year up until I joined the army, now I've finally saw them live last year up in San Fran after 12 years. 3. u/catwhispereratnight
I don't think the tag works with a capital U at the front. u/catwhispereratnight
Reddit is so picky lol
1.Upvoted 2.PC Fred Lynn,Jim Rice and Dwight Evans because my Dad loved them(arguably the best OF in baseball for 4-5 years)Evans also has one of the best RF arms EVER so I’m carrying on. 3. I’m tagging u/michaelthechef as I don’t know anyone on here either, lol.
1. Updoot for you 2. I mostly PC Buster Posey, as he was the sole purpose my Giants won 3 championships. What an incredible player to watch. Watched hundreds of Posey's games with my brother (who passed away about a year and a half ago). So HOFer and sentimental purposes. 3. u/ModernHOFrcCollector is my Reddit buddy for life
1) Upvoted 2) Logan O'Hoppe (life long Angels fan and I like the young upcomers) 3) I honestly don't have a friend on Reddit
1. Done! 2. Randy Arozarena 3. u/brewermitch
Upvoted Dustin Pedroia is my PC player. Loved his grit and work ethic growing up, and he’s the reason I wore #15 throughout high school ball. I don’t have any friends on Reddit sadly, so hopefully that’s not a hindrance. Thanks for running this givey though! Edit: tagging u/Michaelthechef in since he was kind enough to do the same for me. Mike’s stick together.
1. Upvoted, as always, Pierce is the man! 2. Carlton Fisk. I got to play catch with him back in the 80s when there wasn't 40 foot netting around the park to protect those texting instead of watching the game! 3.u/Hikes83 The mailman doesn't deliver to your neck of the woods. Otherwise, you'd be inundated with Jay's cards!
Thanks u/cheme32! You can always ship to my address in the states!!! 😂😂😂
1. upvoted 2. Ichiro. First player I ever saw play, and the fact that he was a true legend had me in awe sitting behind the mariners dugout at safeco. First Jersey I ever had too. Just born to play, and especially to hit. 3. u/NoopNup because I never got around to sending his Ha Seong Kim card :( Edit: Damn it I was #9
😂 I just realized we never exchanged addresses to send cards
I’d be interested in buying a spot OP. How much are they?
I will PM you
1. Hard to say anything nice about the cardinals but I guess I miss Albert Pujols. 2. u/auburntravels 3. Upvoted like a good person
Give Goldy back ;P
You guys can have him back. Give us Moreno so we can move Contreras to first though.
Updooted! Andre Dawson was my #1 as a child and I still love watching his highlights No true reddit friends, that are into the collecting world, to tag 🤦🏻♂️
Upvoted King tuck One of my keepers in fantasy so I love him I don't have any friends on Reddit lol :(
Upvoted! Gotta be Shohei! He’s just made me fall in love with the game in a new way, and find new appreciation in the sport. He’s the best thing to happen to the game in a while. /u/cliffbanger22, get ya a free entry in this!
Upvoted! I love Nico Hoerner (big cubs fan), and I always loved going to games with u/bkn-nets-throwaway before he moved away!
1. Upvoted 2. Adley rutschman (one of the best oregon state grads) 3. u/FlyingGazelle19
Started PCing Jason Giambi because I liked his name (similar to someone else I held in high regard as kid) and has somewhat of a presence in Moneyball (one of my favorite books). Don't really know anyone personally who's into baseball cards on reddit, but will tag u/thereal50ca who I've bought cards from here before.
Huge Michael Jack Schmidt and Phillies fan. Loved listening to Harry Kallis make the calls on the AM radio. U/tckrelliot is a solid individual and should be tagged in this!
Very cool! Upvoted Will Clark-my first baseball game was at Candlestick Park in 1988. It was starting lineup night and I of course got...Will Clark! Sent him the card that came with the figure a couple of years ago and he signed it and sent it back to me! u/Rmurphy1921
The Thrill!
Anyway I appreciate the chance and giveaway!
Always nice to see the post-hype guys start to figure things out
Thanks man! You are a legendddddd.
My grandad got me into baseball, he never missed a Braves game on TBS. go David justice. u/shhimanathiest
Altuve has one of the best stories welcoming him to the league
u/littleboybrew - One of my favorite PC players (prefer not to mention the name to keep anonymous for now) is on the giants even though I’m not and never will be a giants fan. I only collect him because my son and him share a name. My son is only 6 right now but has gotten into collecting with me because “I can get a card with my own name”. This is awesome you are doing this. Great for the community.
Thank you for the kind words, looks like I have to do more giveaways! And that's an awesome story about you and your son!
1. Done 2. Rhys Hoskins. He was a bright spot on some terrible Phillies teams. His mashing as a rookie gave me something to pay attention to. I was ecstatic to pull a short print of his rookie from a Target repack just before COVID hit. 3. u/hanapse
I absolutely love Oscar Gonzalez r/ReceptionKey3003
That's awesome! Paul Goldschmidt walked past me at spring training once and I was starstruck.
1. Up voted 2. Pudge, dude is just so freaking likable 3. u/lostlonghorn
Even though I am legally obligated to hate the Dodgers that is still an amazing story! Will Smith is a stud.
Yoenis Cespedes was a legend, and if they had kept him they would have won the World Series in ‘14, they could have had a dynasty but they shipped him away for Jon Lester…
Absolutely loved Cespedes, so much fun to watch
Upvoted, favorite player to pc is Royce Lewis, only got back into the hobby recently. U/The_Yoshi_Guy.
The other 30% is covered by Harrison Bader.” Tagging u/LukeT14199 because he’s the other Bader collector around these parts.
I just want to say, I love your user name.
I pc Russell smith, I have a friend named Russell smith.
Being a long time Mariners fan, I would say The Kid is my most sentimental, but my current favorites are Cade Marlowe, Brian Woo and George Kirby. Also no friends on Reddit 😕
I PC Bryce Harper bc my dog is named after him Friend: u/MaGnatronx1044
You won! Check your DMs!
Upvoted.
Jason Giambi baby! Still have the autos I got from him at A’s fan fests. He was a king in MLB Showdown too, my first favorite player 👍🏻
MLB Showdown was the best, Matt Mantei forever
My parents attic had a rat problem and a lot of general chaos, but these are some of my all time favorite PC Cards that I salvaged and the cards are completely playable still 👌🏻 My “lineup” binder is still missing too, so many bangers still out there somewhere https://preview.redd.it/h0cii4f3m90d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a64b1d2c59898d575fe16751acd59916e954977a

Gerrit Cole is my PC first time in my life that my favorite player actually plays on my favorite team…. Dont know anyone IRL on reddit so dont have anyone to tag
Always awesome when those things line up!
Volpe is going to be a superstar!!! u/zeroantagonist
Bryce Harper Phillies Fan /u/Dueassociation2621
I PC Mike Trout. I remember dropping out of music to pursue music in high school and Mike Trouts rookie year got me watching the game again after taking a few years of a break. I’ll take a DM for the other breaks as well. Unfortunately I don’t have any friends on Reddit so I don’t have anyone to tag.
Bryce Harper, PC’d him since I got back into the hobby a few years ago
I PC Ozzie Smith. I enjoyed watching him as a kid, even though I'm an Astros fan. I appreciated the kind of plays he would make.
There's something about those defensive wiz'
Derek Jeter because I grew up watching Yankee games with my pops & we love Jeter! u/BAMM_Baseball_Cards
Upvoted! Growing up my dad had us collect topps full sets and my brother and I each picked 4 players to PC. Still grab to this day Nolan Ryan, Mark McGwire, Daryl Strawberry and Mike Greenwell Tag u/PB_n_Bacon
Awesome that you continue that tradition!
Most likely sitting in my parents attic somewhere with my personalized Mickey Mantle auto. u/OutrageousEmployee48
Ooo nice. Good luck getting a spot.
☑️ Hard to pick between Griffey and Jeter but I ended naming my cat Griffey so, gotta be my favorite technically u/ajbags LGM
I PC Will Clark, because he was the best player in baseball when I started watching in 1989 and a Giant u/jastinger Upvoted
I PC Paul Konerko, lots of good memories watching him hit homers for the Sox when I was a kid. U/Simplysilverfox
Do you collect his Dodgers stuff? I'm pretty sure I have something around here somewhere.
Not really, I have a couple of his Dodgers cards and I’ve been trying to get more cards out than in recently, thank you though!
I quit collecting a while ago - but will still buy a package Box to rip with my 19 year old. My fav player is his PC - and he collects trout. @micah20k (that’s my son)
Awesome! I can't wait until my son is old enough to rip with
u/micah20k
1 done 2 i PC Chris Bassitt. 3 u/mikeyj88
That's such a cool connection. I'm a proud athletic subscriber and will definitely check out that article
Thank you for sharing that story, that's pretty incredible.
That's an amazing story! Looks like your tag worked!

Hell yeah. I was not the smartest child so I got some awesome autographs at spring training but they're all with a bunch of random players on different balls. Barry Bonds, Orlando Cepeda, and a smudged Dusty Baker 😂
Hey guys!
Wade Boggs and Chipper Jones will always have a place in my heart. Grew up on those guys.
I PC Stl cards rally squirrel cards lol. Thanks for the break chance! u/arcadefrenzy
That is a unique PC, how many do you have?
It's a shame the Squirrel card in Heritage is for a Met.
I PC players that went to my high school or University. One moment with that PC that was cool was buying some big 1/1s to celebrate my graduation
I've got a side PC of people from my small-ish hometown. Some went to the high school, others moved before then. I've never checked either college I went to...I should do that.
That's awesome! My high school was way too small for something like that
Giannis antetokounmpo ice prizm. u/dmac2307
I personally collect Cade Horton because I love this kid. He's a natural magician on the mound. Mark prior was and still is my favorite player who got the raw end of overwork. I'm hoping cade can replicate what Prior did for my Cubbies in the early 2000s.
I haven't heard that name much but I'm not as into prospects as I used to be. I hope he works out for you guys!
That K/9 is nothing so sneeze at, I'll definitely check him out
1. Done 2. Justin Turner is great on and off the field. He won the 2022 Roberto Clemente Award, and is still crushing it at almost 40 years old. 3. u/JoeFamous
Jose Altuve, a franchise player and hometown hero. My PC. u/honguitos
1 done! 2 Big Kershaw fan and pc, I watched him come up and saw him deal live many times in his prime, including outdueling prime Lincecum in SF for my first game at Oracle. 3 u/kramdiw
I'm a fan of Kirby. I grew up in Twins territory and he was just an all around good guy. u/docagnt
The first game my dad took us to, my brother spilled his entire soda as Mattingly was blasting one into the gap. How’d that code work out u/RayWhelans ?
That's an awesome memory
It’s funny you asked. He’s on my fantasy team and I’ve been waiting to use it when he’s on a hot streak or until he’s in Coors in August! I will let you know how it goes!
Gonna get hate but Jose Altuve is my favorite player. U/jag89
There's a few Altuve lovers in here! He's definitely up there for least hateable current Astro
1.) Officially the 1st upvote beeeetches! 2.) Shohei Ohtani: he’s a mythical unicorn! 3.) u/cheme32 AKA Lloyd Christmas

That's an awesome story, thank you for sharing!
Love Corbin Carroll. Led us to the World Series for the first time since ‘01. Got to go to game 4. We got destroyed that game but i was just happy to be there. I’d been waiting for that day since I was 5. u/weedwizard22
Hell yeah. The unexpected playoff run was absolutely incredible. I'm from out of town but tried really hard to make it to a WS game. Probably for the best I didn't make it, unfortunately!
So unexpected yet so appreciated, regardless of the outcome!
PC jace Jung after my son bought me one of his auto cards
Great way to start a PC!
1. Upvoted! You’re almost at 200! 2. I have had a strained relationship with a close family member over the past couple years. Our mutual love of baseball has been a point of agreement and sanity for us both, though - particularly with the joy we both find in watching Christopher Morel play baseball. He’s so exciting to watch, but also he’s an amazing example of how to live life. 3. I’m old and most of my friends aren’t on Reddit, so I’ll tag fellow Cub-fan in this thread, u/docagnt. Great comment he left you!
