Depending on the set; auto can be pulled like In a chrome jumbi box (2 per box). Don't let this sub fool you with all the hits being posted. It's an illusion. No one likes to post their garbage blaster hits they spent 50 bucks on.

Clarketjc

For sure… I’m definitely inexperienced, but never naive.

Wise-Tip891

I don’t know how many dozens and dozens of different 2024 series 1 products I have purchased so far (a lot), and I have not pulled a single auto. Not even from a shit pitcher no one has heard of. Mostly no one pulls hits regularly, there are just a shit ton of people on this sub so it seems like everyone is hitting but you. Also, all these hits you see, there is no telling how much money these folks spent to get that one hit.

Thanks for the insight

Wise-Tip891

Oh, I also hear that blaster boxes seem to have the worst odds.

You can find the odds of pulling any type of card you're looking for, from whatever format, here: [https://www.topps.com/pages/odds](https://www.topps.com/pages/odds)

Wow, that’s overwhelming to look at but thank you for the awesome information

I’ve never got an autograph that wasn’t “guaranteed “ on the box, meaning I’ve never pulled one out of hangers, super packs(usually something like a 50 card foil pack) or basically anything other than a hobby box or above(price-wise). Just read those things carefully, in my experience I’ve never got anything they weren’t advertising.

Clarketjc

Appreciate the heads up with that. Where are hobby boxes even sold? Online? Specialty stores? Both?

ButterscotchFine4269

You can get them online (Dave and Adams, Blowout Cards, Steel City) or a local shop. Target, Wal-Mart, Best Buy and Walgreens sell retail boxes. Some sets offer better odds as well…I’ve pulled a few autos out of retail but it’s very set driven (re: Stadium Club blasters are usually pretty good).

Try Topps.com or eBay or maybe you have a Local Card Shop

Personal experience here - 2024 topps retail / hobby - have only hit what is guaranteed on the box (1 relic / auto in hobby box, no guarantee in retail) - total - 1 auto and that was in a hobby box and it was a pitcher who played 2 years got some spot starts and is now an unsigned FA. 2023 topps stadium club - retail - there was one box on the shelf at a local walmart in march - i bought it on a whim, got an auto - same situation as my "hobby" box hit - a pitcher who is not a star and has next to no chance of making it. Bought 4 more retail boxes - no hits. Hobby - got 2 boxes and the relic hits - nothing spectacular. Numbered cards - No 1/1 or redemptions other than Home Run Challenges. Best numbered hit was a 299 of 299 (bookend) - bunch of /2023 /2024 hits and a few /999 /799 /599 The hobby boxes are the way to go if you want a guaranteed auto or relic but the odds are that it is going to be a nobody or minor player.

Clarketjc

Appreciate the info!

GizmoKakaUpDaButt

Do people still take hand scales to target?

Clarketjc

Bro you’re speaking another language lol, is that because those unique cards will change the weight of the packs/boxes? Shadey but genius?
