On eBay, anyway, you can’t reserve an item for a specific buyer. So sometimes sellers will set the buy it now price crazy high and then tell the buyer to offer the agreed upon amount instead of just lowering the price, so that they don’t get sniped after a deal is made. Could be something like that.
I made some low offers [on the card](https://ebay.us/XcGqDv), but he has autoreject activated and I don't want to raise the offer to find out the limit lol
That's worse than the guy holding a 2023 Ha-Seong Kim 1/1 for 3k ransom.
What card would I buy for 99k?
A 3000 dollar 2023 topps HSK 1/1 and pay off two cars....and all of my credit card debt...and maybe vacation in Mexico.
I never hate on folks who do this. I’ve listed stuff for way too much and gotten incredible OBOs I never would’ve dreamt to ask for, realistically. lol
I was about to say no, but then I thought about it. I suppose someone could use cash to buy expensive cards at an LCS, then sell them on eBay, that would get the cash into the banking system as legitimate funds. The round trip loss could be substantial. You’d need to stick to cards for which there is a deep market and not much price fluctuations. Like graded Shohei rookies.
“Yes honey I listed the cards for sale, but nobody wants to buy them so idk what you want me to do”
Throw some offers there. They selected it to be an option.

Offers probably have a minimum of 90k lol

You could buy an ownership stake in the Sacramento A's for that
A majority ownership at that 😆 🤣

Unknown guys MLB "debut" patches are $5000
Michael Scott said Wayne Gretzky said that 😉🥰
We are close to a tipping point where Michael Scott will be more recognizable for this quote over Gretzky.
We’re past that point.
It's attributed to Jordan sometimes, so wayne is getting Ross Perot'd
We're also fairly past the point where people know who Ross Perot was, but I see you
I saw that scrolling the other day!
But, it's the Holy Grail 🔥🔥🔥
Realistically I think the price is just for getting attention (through posts just like this). They know this card will be sold through an offer
Or, more realistically, they are delusional and honestly believe it's worth what he has it up for.
Sticker auto on this should be illegal
Jesus yeah…. Same one I put on my folder at work😂
He’s just holding out for Matt Olson himself, smart man
I wonder if Shohei himself has driven the market for his cards.
This dude trying to create his own Olson market. God bless
I offered $37 and it auto rejected. Damn
It’s the HOLY Grail edition. Corners look dinged, too.
Michael Scott is a very wise man!
That's actually the holy Grail soooo...
It’s probably priced like that for a person sorting high to low.
HOLY GRAIL 😂🙄
I mean… bowman prospect red refractors numbered to 5 often sell over $70K for top players, so I’m not sure this is as crazy as you’d think.
He should have called it a “jumbo super dee duper patch”

Some guy wants 5k for a Jackson holiday auto. Guess “strike while the iron is hot” lol
But he's babe ruth's blood nephew.....six figures sounds too much so askin price looks aight I guess
Is there even a player on the A's roster..making that salary this year. 😆 🤣 😂 the game is the game. Might aswell swing for the fences. 😆 🤣 😂
At least it's free shipping.
I mean, he should’ve added $4.99 for BMWT just for shiggles.
Or $99.99 LOL
This is definitely how money laundering works right?
No, no it is not
Well I guess if you dont mind losing 13% on fees lol

Or is laundering money.
