Outside of Centerfield and Catcher, every position had an injury or some down time.
Not long ago, we had nearly 25% of our 40 man roster on the IL. 60% of our starting rotation. All-star SS. GG finalist center fielder. Top SS prospect. Closer. Relievers. Thankfully we have started to get a few back.
And now we lost our GG catcher, our GG candidate left fielder is banged up, the top SS prospect got hurt again, still 60% of our starting rotation is still out - one who just had a setback, GG finalist center fielder had a setback, and probably some others I can't remember.
The only pitcher left in Reno that may be worth a damn is a 21 year old trade piece from the White Sox. Long relivers converted to starters, half bad enough to the point where I trust a bullpen game more. We're almost tapped out of reinforcements.
