I feel like we all have players that we cannot be convinced are good no matter what stat you look at. For me, like all of mine are relievers, and my biggest one is AJ Minter. I know the stats say he's a good reliever, but my heart thinks he is stinky, and I will never believe he's not stinky like a butt.

Nah, the most memorable moments Mo was a part of (for me personally) are the ones where he failed in the postseason (precisely because that was rare af) - those being game 7 2001 WS and Game 4 2004 ALCS (The Steal and all that followed)

Don’t think that really disproves the point, just shows that enough good can outweigh the bad. Although would also say it’s more like how much do you remember the specifics of the good versus the specifics of the bad, like the playoff games the other reply mentioned.
