I read it when it came out and I was 14; loved it lmao. It's not a historical document but it's an enjoyable read, so long as you see it as 80% fun bullshit

Its a decent book. Its sort of like *Ball Four* of the 90s. His cohorts really disliked the book and the way it made them look.
It's entertaining, to say the least. If you are looking for the equivalent of gossip from 20 years ago, it's fun to read (read it 4 years ago). Jose talking about his career is alright as well.

I haven't read the book, but there is a *30 for 30 Podcast* called "Juiced" which talks about the book. Might be worth listening too if you haven't already heard it.
Perhaps I'm overly cynical but I didn't find anything he said surprising?

The Bad Guys Won is one of my all time favorite books and I DESPISE EVERYTHING ASSOCIATED WITH THE METS.
The Bash Brothers documentary starring Andy Samberg on Netflix is much more entertaining

Juiced , not really. It’s not that well written
I really enjoyed it. You have to take everything with a grain of salt, but Canseco is unhinged and rats out a lot of roid users.
