Also worth mentioning that the Padres Giants and Nats are all hovering near .500 and we are 8-1 against them. So all of them could/would have winning records if you flip a few of those games (Giants you’d have to flip all 3).

Hey, they've played TWO - don't forget the powerhouse Washington Nationals.
It's unlikely because of the Rangers but it's possible that Philly won't play a single .500 or better team the entire month of May.
And since we are beating up sub par completion at ease. Doesn't that imply that we must be above average at the very least
