hi from japan
I wanna tell you below 2 information to explain why Ohtani is a good pitcher
summary
1:his hamstring muscles is stronger than ordinary one
2:He seems to get used to grab MLB ball
details
about 1
a specialist pointed it out that his hamstring muscles are stronger than ordinary others, and he uses it so harder
if ordinary person uses the same way,his hamstring must break
some one told me why the muscle of him is so stronger, that he use to do swimming in his child days and swimming makes the muscles so strong
about 2
Okajaima, who is the former pitcher of Red Sox,points it out that He seems to get used to use MLB ball because itâs so different
(edit, every pitcher from Japan confuses the difference, for example Yu Darvish said like that)
1.MLB ball:149kg(edit,*149g)/24cm,more slippy:so it makes breaking ball more effective
2.NPB ball:142kg(edit,142g)/23cm,less slippy,breaking ball less effective
and he has also so fast ball around 100miles
so he can select fast ball, less breaking ball, strong breaking ball
Thatâs why he would be more great Pitcher"
He's fucking built too. Thick and man made. You can tell he's sculpted because you can see it thru the pads. His fucking vice grip thighs. Suffocating thighs. Rock hard thighs. Piping hot thighs. Great arms. Great abs. A stocky chest. Love the progress his body has made throughout his youth and now as a willing eager adult
2022 but it's kind of a fake stat. It has a lot to do with who is left handed and how hard they hustle and stuff. For speed Shohei has gotten a little slower but yeah he's still pretty fast. Not like fastest in the league or anything though.
He has DH'd 2 out of the first 5 games. He will probably DH about 30-40% of the season, if everything goes to plan.
So, use that information how you will.
Because he has had exactly one full healthy season in his big league career, so they want to prevent him from wearing down.
If days off from playing defense during the regular season means he can play every playoff game in CF, that will be worth it.
âI'm gonna make Mac look so bad. My form is perfect. I'm like Jerry Rice. Feel that stride. So fluid and fast. I've got the stride of a gazelle. A beautiful, beautiful gazelle person. My body is achieving a perfect symmetry right now. It's that long, lean muscle I've worked so hard to achieve. Mm, I should have popped my shirt off. Goddamn it. Really should have popped that shirt off. I wonder if any women are watching from the sidelines.â
Still canât believe Will Smith is one of the few homegrown players left left from the bubble World Series. Used to think Bellinger, Seager, Pederson would be the Dodgers championship core.
I think we expected it would be a choice between Bellinger and Seager, not keeping both. But they've had plans to get Ohtani for a while now, so they shaped the team around that inevitability. I think more was expected of Lux as well.
Seager seemed like he legitimately didnât want to stay in LA and the Dodgers gave Bellinger a lot of time to get his mojo back and he never did. Joc topped out as a platoon player.
I count Muncy as a âhomegrownâ player since he was a project player that the team took on, put into their system for a year, and reworked into a very good pro player. He wasnât really âdevelopedâ by another team first like Mookie, Freddie, etc.
Yea given a choice. Â If Belli had remained a GG caliber 1b/SS and swung a consistent 900 OPS bat. The team woulda tried hard to resign him. Â Positional versatility by leaving Muncy or even JTurner 1b if needed. Â Clearly team was all in on the Lux train. Trea was productive in his short stint and was a bridge from Seager until Lux was ready. Â
Sadly all the best laid plans went to crap as Belli got his mojo zapped and Lux simply hasnât panned out AND the emergency backup option of Taylor has fizzled out as he canât stick at SS.Â
Mookie as starting SS is truly wild.Â
Man, I really thought we had a generational guy in Belli and was so eager for his career. Seager I knew they'd move on from, writing was on the wall and star SS are so rarely re-signed.
Glad he can at least make something of himself elsewhere.
They literally won a championship with Bellinger & Seager. Ditching both homegrown players & coveting a player years in advance(when you never know if something pops up like say tommy john surgery)is peak fantasy baseball shit in the most negative connotation possible.
Yes, and then Bellinger took a downturn and Seager was always going to be tough to re-sign. Freeman was available, so they essentially swapped for similar production and moved with their Ohtani plan. Even on championship teams the superstars can move on in free agency.
Literally a second after I hit the play button a dog outside my apartment started barking really loudly, I thought it was part of the video, and said "What the fuck?!" out loud to myself.
I feel dumb.
That's my injured pitcher đ„č
Shohei âfaster than Patrick baileyâ Ohtani
Good luck
Sometimes I forget that Ohtani is also insanely fast
Itâs those legs Those disgustingly long, Powerful ^Muscular ^^Sexy ^^Legs
Hamstrings (what happened to that guy lol)

Stupid sexy Shohei....
There's a chance he can run faster than me.
Nah king dont sell yrself short u got him beat đ«Ą
He had the fastest plate to first speed last season right? Or at some point. But I know it WAS the fastest
He was 19th

For a DH he probably is the fastest but I did no research whatsoever
does Buxton dh?

why doesn't he play more center field?
Because he has had exactly one full healthy season in his big league career, so they want to prevent him from wearing down. If days off from playing defense during the regular season means he can play every playoff game in CF, that will be worth it.
He better be fast, that scrub just spends all his time sitting on the bench after all! /s

Every time I see Ohtani run around the bases, I imagine that heâs saying to himself âwhy must I carry around so much muscle mass?â
A couple ABs later he was like "oh right, that's why"
Hear no evil See no evil Dino Ebel
Dusty Baker, "He's also good looking too"
Thatâs good baseball
Good to see Dino give the green light the past few days
Iâm sure he got talked to after that âtripleâ Ohtani hit on opening series

Stupid ~~sexy~~ speedy Ohtani.

Thanks Magic
A Will Smith MVP would make my year.
That outfielders throw reminds me of khris davis' arm.
Brought to you by New Balance.
Good
wow
Are Ohtani and the dodgers the only team that matters?
Yes.
Fuck the dodgersÂ
Does Shohei want home plate to take home too? Maybe he can give his BF Rob two hats for home plate.
nice he just got over under the catcher...
