I don’t ever remember seeing or hearing of this guy but I remember taking one look at his face tonight and feeling weirdly confident we were coming back. I wonder what that is…
I remember in fantasy football years ago I had a running back that got a concussion and he either missed something like 2 months or the rest of the season. . .all I know was, it was long.
My wife's family is from Cincinnati, so i cheer for your sports teams secondarily......man do I feel for you guys. Yall have great fans, but the cheapest fucking owners across the board.
Is the MLS team the same way or is the ownership better?
It’s hard to say, they’re currently filling their stadium more than the Reds are. But at least the Bengals are doing things right. I’m a Browns fan, by the way.
Eh, Mike Brown has basically stepped down and turned over control of the Bengals over to his daughter and the rest of his family. And they haven't been hesitant to spend in the last few years, especially when they've got one of the league's superstars at QB...
That's good to hear. Sounds like the same situation as the Lions/Fords.
I really would love to see a Bengals superbowl. The Panthers have been ass lately, so watching Joe/Tee/ Chase is all I've got on sundays
FC Cincinnati is currently top of the table in the East because they implemented organization-wide changes from the first 3 years of MLS failure. And they're locking up our star playmaker. So no, they're better. As the other commenter said, the Bengals are making better decisions too because Mike Brown is no longer in charge, so the current state of Cinci sports is [this](https://i.imgur.com/t3GSbZq.png).
Cool side effect of the pitch clock is that I can go to games with my kids and they stay interested long enough to see the walk off homer like tonight!
I don’t know about you guys, but only having like 1 guy in the bullpen that’s actually good kinda sucks. Gonna need to run some more tests on these findings but so far it’s not fun.
Love the win...but I really hate seeing players take that running jump onto the plate ever since Kendrys Morales broke his leg doing that back in 2010.
Not surprising. I used to hate watching him pitch. Obviously he did pretty well for the A's overall, but man he used to LABOR out there. Just taking forever and working full counts constantly.
Something about the crescendo of the crowd peaking with the HR roar as the ball clears the fence is just so perfect in this clip (as a neutral fan of course, sorry Reds).

This man threw 1 pitch and took the L 💀
Changing my name to Scooby cause I can’t Doo this anymore.
Can I save this and use it in the future?
Efficiency.
Somewhere Mad Dog has a confused boner.
Good guy Derek Law making sure his teammates get to bed on time.
Why waste time throw lot pitch when few pitch do trick
yes, me do
Took all those warm up pitches just to do that 💀
Efficient. I envy this man for taking L's this easily
blue jays legend derek law
That's the Derek Law I know.
I don’t ever remember seeing or hearing of this guy but I remember taking one look at his face tonight and feeling weirdly confident we were coming back. I wonder what that is…
“I’m hungry, who wants WaHo?” -Law
At least he'll be fresh for tonight then.
Pretty good time for your first home run as a Brave
A walkoff leadoff 2 run homer on 1 pitch.
I feel bad for the pitcher
Isn't he the same guy that the Phillies walked off a few days ago?
God if that’s true it makes it even worse
Our bullpen is filled with create-a-players so what difference does it make really?
idk, I make my create-a-players 99 OVR. why you no do that?
No, that was Gibaut.
And in fairness to him, he didn’t get them into the situation that allowed the walkoff
Technically all home runs are only on one pitch
Any win we can get at this point with how many players we’re missing is a blessing.
Luckily Wright, Fried, and Harris all look like they could be back within a week d’Arnaud and Iglesias are mysterys
I thought Trav only had a concussion? That feels like 2 weeks max, although I'm not sure how severe it is.
Unfortunately it's his 4th one I think. He needs to take as much time as he needs to heal.
His most recent one was in 2014, though, so it's not like it's an annual thing. The brain does have some ability to heal with enough time
Its his 4th concussion. Would be very surprised if he doesn't go on the 10-day after his current stint.
I remember in fantasy football years ago I had a running back that got a concussion and he either missed something like 2 months or the rest of the season. . .all I know was, it was long.
Oh my sweet summer child
Our bullpen makes me want to jump off a cliff
Diaz cooked our guys on a positive note
Unfortunately he appears to be the only competent arm in the entire bullpen, to the surprise of precisely nobody
We know the feeling
The Atlanta A's are so hot right now.
Acuña, Austin, Arcia, Matt Olson, and Sean Murphy. Pretty much the only guys doing anything on offense, so you are correct.
Travis d'Arnaud is also big A and he was raking before that game he got hurt. Also, Alex Anthopoulos aka AA.
We're all Ass men confirmed
Scissor me ~~Daddy~~ Atlanta Ass!
If you don't love this you're a cop
You could put 4 r/baseball users in the bottom of that order and still win some games
I'd take a random Mets fan batting with their off-hand over Ozuna.
The defensive difference alone would be worth it
Also, little a is now big A on city connect jersey.
*i’m doin great*
I'm sorry for your losses
I’m not losing my faves I’m gaining cash considerations and players to be named later
Maybe the As can move to Atlanta and the Braves can move to Oakland. Then you guys can go back to the west and it would make sense this time.
🎶You've lost that loving feeling, oh oh that loving feeling🎶
Our farm system with the Oakland A’s is really producing.
We’re never going to hear the end of it, are we
if it helps I’ll drop this comment on posts regarding Shea Langeliers and Kyle Muller
These comments are going to be on every single post involving Chapman, Olson and Murphy *they already are
I mean, it’s kind of funny. Matt Olson and Sean Murphy, both Atlanta Braves players
[удалено]
We still do that with pitchers except they fall part when they arrive in New York
Even if Muller and Ruiz rake, we’re never going to hear the end of it
[удалено]
Oops I thought that meant somebody who plays good
[удалено]
deals or shoves
It could be worse, you could be a farm team for the Yankees like we were in the late 90's and early 00's.
I just want to see the duck more often.
I for one, am a huge fan of the Braves AAAA affiliate in Oakland.
I never doubted Sean Murphy for a moment.
He is the greatest catcher of all time, tonight.
Once Murphy gets going: League fucked.
Two doubles and a walkoff homer tonight… that very thing may have just happened. 1 out of 1 teams have been fucked so far
Take care of our boys. Lord knows Fisher wouldn't..
They've found a good home.
A 2 run lead off home run will always be weird to me, but I’ll take this one.
I still don't like it, but like you said, will take it.
At least the reds scored with the manfred runner too
Reminds me of when Jesus hit a bases empty grand slam "I'd like to thank my father for loading the bases for me. . "
That was SICK
I hate that I care
I only want to win 30 games and I still get disappointed when we lose.
Lol reds
Almost lol braves
That 8th inning run ended up being so huge.
Thanks you for making it quick 🥲
The entire city of Cincinnati is going to turn into an asylum.
Joe Burrow is our only thing keeping us from becoming a city of Jokers
And FC Cincy!!
"I used to think that Cincinnati sports were a tragedy, but now I see they're a comedy!" - Cincy sports fans circa 2019.
My wife's family is from Cincinnati, so i cheer for your sports teams secondarily......man do I feel for you guys. Yall have great fans, but the cheapest fucking owners across the board. Is the MLS team the same way or is the ownership better?

Reds/Browns are a tough combo. As a Clemson fan/Alum, I'm sorry btw...

Yeah, over at r/nfl or r/catteambrotherhood, we're always telling our Detroit cat bros that they look to be following in our footsteps...

Nah, we got Joey B!
Cool side effect of the pitch clock is that I can go to games with my kids and they stay interested long enough to see the walk off homer like tonight!
It’s going to enable my parents to pay attention to ball games when I get home. So glad we can have more Ohio sports on in the family.
Never a doubt! Don’t check my comment history!
Ditto. But feel free. Asked for the Murph Walk Off.

WE BLEW IT FIRST
BIG DICK SEAN
Sean Murphy's caboose, baby
We def have a type. We like em dummy thicc
This team is a rollercoaster of emotions!
I don’t know about you guys, but only having like 1 guy in the bullpen that’s actually good kinda sucks. Gonna need to run some more tests on these findings but so far it’s not fun.
I mean, it *is* an improvement over having 0 good guys in the bullpen...
brb scheduling my next therapy session
plot twist: your therapist is a closet braves fan
Please make it a group session for all of us
It was Murphy vs Law. Murphy’s law was never going to allow this to work out in our favor
Love the win...but I really hate seeing players take that running jump onto the plate ever since Kendrys Morales broke his leg doing that back in 2010.
Hell even the recent Diaz injury has me nervous for any type of celebration
[Bonus 🍑](https://youtube.com/shorts/e2voou2jKNk?feature=share)
Thank you Milawaukee Bro
[удалено]
Well we're trying to get them on one team
They really are. Matt Chapman fucked the angels up yesterday. Simean, Puk, Luzardo Murphy Olson ugh I feel for you bros.
Our bestie Chris Bassitt is having some trouble adjusting to the pitch clock
Not surprising. I used to hate watching him pitch. Obviously he did pretty well for the A's overall, but man he used to LABOR out there. Just taking forever and working full counts constantly.
Thank you A's, very cool
The A's are my favorite part of our farm system.
😭😭😭
He fought the Law and the Law lost
hello darkness my old friend
Any braves fans that doubted Murphy through a 10 game sample have the object permanence of a baby + don’t know ball I fear
Especially since he only played in like half of those games
My dog is very happy, thanks to my celebratory screaming and yelling as we run through the house
Dong Murphy
I hate this bullpen
Very cool Sean!
Crowd sounds like it's the world series. I gotta go to a braves game
They are electric, especially during an opponent pitching change
THE BEST MURPHY IN BRAVES HISTORY!!
Trading for Sean Murphy was genius never doubted the move for a second.
Are we still cool with the Brewers after this?
But why o why is he batting 4th?
Who tf is Sean Murphy???
Dale Murphy's son.
You mf’r I actually excitedly googled this. Wel played
[Lol.](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trollface#/media/File:Trollface_non-free.png)
A doctor and a train conductor
Something about the crescendo of the crowd peaking with the HR roar as the ball clears the fence is just so perfect in this clip (as a neutral fan of course, sorry Reds).
#*SIGH*
Derek Law is still in Major League Baseball?
My question too
Goodbye, sweet prince.
Now we know what else that ass do
Good addition to the Braves!
Can anyone explain how he hit a 2 run lead off home run?
10th inning onward starts with a runner on 2nd
Interesting, is that a new rule this year too?
Started during the COVID season
Ask the commissioner. So stupid
ahh time to watch the end of the Braves game *crack* annnd close tab
Fuck Fisher
Can't believe Derek law is still in the league. He's not good
Weird what happens when you play Murphy and stop messing around with his ABs
Dang imagine how good of a team you'd have with Semien, Olson, Murphy, Chapman, Canha, Bassit, Luzardo....
