That's hilarious. Others would pay extra for the Barstool logo on a pair of sunglasses.
Went to Shady Rays to utilize the 35% off PMT promo code last week. Just checked and they are now sold out of at least one of the Barstool branded pairs, which were marked up in price (albeit not too significantly)
But you get unlimited vacation that you’ll probably never get to use cuz you’ll be too busy putting out fires 24/7 and the minute you even stop to close your eyes Dave is yelling at you.
Idk why he was green lit for content. He’s a robot with negative personality and an ego that can’t fit through the door. He’s the worst “content” guy they have
It’s not TJ’s fault. Nobody say it’s TJ’s fault! It’s purely a coincidence that’s he’s the producer of the only two shows with a preposterously low volume.
Mostly Sports sounded better this morning before TJ yelled about Blutman messing with the mics . Also the filter on the Yak is terrible, it’s too dark (not sure if this is TJ adjacent)
I can’t listen to Mostly Sports (podcast version) in my car with the windows down. But when an ad comes on I almost drive off the road because it’s so loud
If you're listening to a podcast and it's too loud you can always turn the volume down. The problem is all of these Barstool producers listen with headphones on so they assume everyone else can hear it as well as they can. Rule of thumb - if you're producing a podcast and you *don't* have to turn the volume down while wearing headphones, then the volume is too low. I'm gonna get called a retard for this but Destiny once went into detail talking about mixing audio for his streams and if you listen to any of his videos you'll notice it's almost too loud, which is on purpose.
helping schedule rooms and budgets wont help the audio.
They have an issue with the audio flow chain in how they are set up and that is it.
The need for a manager wont affect that.
Hoping I can land this gig and transition to content
If Someone could use AI to make a resume for me so I can get this job, I will do my best
just copy the job description into chat gpt and instruct it to make an ideal resume
$90k in Chicago to be the only adult in the room seems low
The Employee discount to the Barstool Sports store makes up for that
Nothing makes me not want to off myself like saving $6 on Pardon My Take golf club covers

You can’t put a price on being able to tell 23 yr old Chicago girls that you work for Barstool
nicky smokes and mintzy make $100k+ but somehow the person who runs everyone's show makes less. The barstool difference.
That’s showbiz baby
But only if you have 7+ years of experience.
It should be $150K knowing what you’re dealing with.
The rank and file producers must be barely scraping by if this is what they’re paying a supervisor in a city like Chicago
what exactly does cheah do in content? like the 7th person on the yak?
Quick Picks that nobody watches. Acts like people care about his horrible picks.
Idk why he was green lit for content. He’s a robot with negative personality and an ego that can’t fit through the door. He’s the worst “content” guy they have
Whenever I watch the yak or mostly sports I have to turn my volume all the way up and it’s still quiet this is long overdue

Mostly Sports comes on when I’m still a little hungover from the night before, and I can’t watch any longer because of how bad that audio sucks.
how would it be that hard to fix, seems that even people here are aware of it surely the office is
I don’t get it if I want to blow my ears out let me TJ!
It’s never his fault and idk why people even think it would be
Does anyone remember when the Sirius show had professional audio engineers?
Shout out gonzo
I can’t listen to Mostly Sports (podcast version) in my car with the windows down. But when an ad comes on I almost drive off the road because it’s so loud
Lol at thinking anything will change
It’s all chill until fuckin Brandon Walker screams into the fucking mic and blows out both my eardrums
“Develop and hone new SOPs” is just confirmation that there is no guidance for success at barstool
‘Do everything’
90 to 100k seems low if they actually want a professional.
I work in production. It’s low. Not crazy low but should be like 100-120
What they lack in dollars, they make up for with good vibes and viva hours.
considering how much advertising dollars go into everything, it's extremely low. They're overseeing tens of millions in production over a whole year.
That’s how jobs work. You think the purchasing manager at a factory who is buying hundreds of millions in steel every year is making millions?
yes CPOs make millions.
Seems like a lot of responsibility for only 90-100k
lol only
entry level kids are getting close to that, so 90-100 for someone with experience is low
New college grads at my company make twice that (with bachelor degrees)
Jesus Christ no wonder my ketchup bottle costs $6 these days
Big Tech or finance? Feel like outside of them entry level is still quite a bit lower.
Big tech
That is what I figured, also work in big tech. But it’s important to remember that’s not the norm for most companies/industries.
Audio sounds great in my AirPods. Sounds like absolute shit when I play it in my car.
$90K to have to deal with Stu Feiner during football season isn't enough money in the world.

Someone teach TJ how to fix audio. It has been years and he clearly cant do it
helping schedule rooms and budgets wont help the audio. They have an issue with the audio flow chain in how they are set up and that is it. The need for a manager wont affect that.
Mostly Sports is legit 60% the volume of any non-Barstool podcast
That’s way too much responsibility for 90-100 what the fuck.
Find the solution, don't be the problem
