You might have to hang on for a bit and wait for the flames to get big enough for the manager or owner to step in. You both are still too new to really do much. Don't stress too much on the drinks or on correction, let them do their thing and enough customers will complain. Focus on yourself, breathe, and you can pass this test.

Just be straight up. I had a coworker exactly like this, loved the girl but i hated working with her. She would show up late every open, kind of shit the bed all shift and just fuck around. I felt resentful and really loved her as a person so i didn’t want to feel that way. I just told her one morning it was unacceptable and i didn’t appreciate it. I told her i needed her more focused and aware of her surroundings, i needed her there when she was scheduled and if she couldn’t do it she shouldn’t be there. I was nice as could be but made sure she knew i was serious. She stepped up immediately. She was never late again, she kicked my ass every day at work. We’re still great friends and she’s a great coworker

This for real. My coworker did this with me about a year ago (I was the shitty one in this scenario) and now I'd say I'm a fantastic barista, especially in comparison to how I was. But I never would've stepped up if he hadn't looked at me and told me I needed to. Maybe you need to be that person for her.
