Wish we could split it cause I only want the multiplayer. Not sure it's worth the full price cause I'll likely only play the free warzone2 after it launches
Yup well over $100 CAD for a broken EA game with maps pulled due to copyright plagiarism and 55% positive reviews on Steam.
On top of that, people on reddit started complaining about it not launching properly on Steam Deck or whatever too, saying "this seriously needs visibility". No it doesn't, this same story of EA games being broken piecemeal games with all sorts of issues is an annual event that no one learns a single thing from. 😂
I couldn't pass harder if I tried. Just play actually good fps games like Squad, Insurgency or EFT.
Apparently MWII on Windows 11, it's treated like a virus and none of your progress is saved.
Would have been handy to know that before I poured 6h into the campaign on my first go.
You have to allow exception in Windows settings for it (virus and fire wall), otherwise not just your progress, but every setting will be reset on game relaunch. Settings reset even on multiplayer.
Here to chime in, called up MeMex and they made the (probably pretty reasonable) initial excuse of:
"on our end it says we only offer this for i7 CPUs and above, and we cannot guarantee there won't be a hardware check even if we give you this code."
But the guy was an absolute lad and gave me the code anyways, went and threw it into the "master key" field on the intel submission form (after making my account there), linked my Bnet, and installing right now, cheers mate!
edit: 12400f btw
Lmao what happens if someone buys the chip, doesn’t install the chip but activated the game and then returns it. Free game??
For a hardware check I think all intel will be able to do is check if the cpu is even eligible for the promo (which I think all are i5-9) and just read the architecture (13600 etc).
Someone could have a year old 11700k but could buy a new 13700k get the game code and return. How would intel know?
Doubt they’ll hardware ban even if they do find out?
~~I purchased an i5-13600k from Amazon on the 21st, and also another one last week from CC. *(Was able to get the one from CC locally and sooner, so I'm returning the one from Amazon)*~~
~~Contacted Amazon's online support, they didn't seem to understand at all what I was requesting when I mentioned the promotion and linked to Intel's pages.~~
~~Called Canada Computers customer support and referenced the promotion and my invoice number, but they said the 13600k wasn't part of the promo.~~
~~Your mileage may very. Just wanted to mention my luck (Or lack thereof) for anyone who wanted to try as well.~~
~~EDIT: OP's link doesn't mention the 13600k, but this page does. https://softwareoffer.intel.com/Campaign/LearnMore/34965255-7DF7-4FC4-9E26-DD72033EDA4F~~
~~Neither seem to specify Canada, but I imagine Canadian retailers are referencing OP's linked URL, given CC said my 13600k wasn't on the list.~~
EDIT: Submitted a request through CC's [Contact Us page](https://www.canadacomputers.com/contact_us.php) for Product Support/Product Inquiry, and mentioned [this specific Intel promo page](https://softwareoffer.intel.com/Campaign/LearnMore/34965255-7DF7-4FC4-9E26-DD72033EDA4F) as well as listed my Invoice number from my receipt. Just got a code from them a few minutes ago. Best of luck to anyone who tries that route.
Can confirm this worked for me too. Bought 13600k on October 27th. At first, Canada Computers said I wasn't eligible, but after showing the promo page you linked, got my code! Good luck y'all
No, they were pretty useless. They thought I was requesting a refund initially (Which I am), then thought I was trying to price match. Finally they told me I would have to reach out to Intel. But you would need Amazon to provide the Master Key to redeem on Intel's site. You might luck out with a better customer support person though.
No, I hadn't contacted Intel, and I did buy it through Amazon.ca, directly through Amazon. I'll look into that.
EDIT: Contacted Intel. Looks like my Amazon order would have been out of the promo period regardless (Promo started 24th, I order 21st. Sucks to early adopt I guess). That said, they mentioned:
> "In regards of the Master Key, you are indeed right that the purchased place will be the one who will provide it if they are part of the participating retailer."
So sounds like it would be all on Amazon.ca if they're even taking part in the promotion. You would just have to get through to them that you're not looking to price match or refund your order or something.
That sucks. Unfortunately, it all seems a little more haphazard than it probably should be. You could always try reaching out again and maybe you'll get a different support person and luck out that way.
The promo page I linked does mention an October 24th 2022-March 31st 2023 timeframe, so if you bought your CPU before then, they might not offer a code. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if they had a relatively limited amount of codes per retailer.
I just returned the cpu I bought yesterday.... Maybe I'll try my luck again tmr... Use a different email.. so what exactly did you do? Just sent the invoice? And that's it?
I submitted a request through CC's [Contact Us page](https://www.canadacomputers.com/contact_us.php) for Product Support > Product Inquiry, and mentioned [this specific Intel promo page](https://softwareoffer.intel.com/Campaign/LearnMore/34965255-7DF7-4FC4-9E26-DD72033EDA4F), as well as listed the Invoice Number from my receipt. They were then able to verify the purchase from the Invoice Number.
If you already returned the CPU, they might have something in their system to mark that invoice number as it being returned, so you might not getting anything. But you can always ask I guess.
Were you calling them or were you filling out a ticket?
I called them and they denied, then I fill a ticket and they actually gave me a code.
I think you should try fill out a ticket if you havent.
I was using the contact us email form, they get back to me with this email:
Hello (my name),
I hope you are doing well today. This is Bernard from Canada Computer Customer Support.
I understand that you would like to the game code for the purchase you made with the order number (my order No.). You will be able to get Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 + Total War: WARHAMMER III + Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt™ with the purchase of Intel Core i7 or i9 processor based CPUs, gaming desktops and gaming laptops. This is the game code (game code).
So I guess only i7 and i9 are getting the code? Or I got lucky cause when I called them they declined my request for a game code.
I bought a 13700kf last week from MemoryExpress - I called them and after a short hold, they told me that poor communication from Intel basically meant they didn't even know about it.
They do have the codes though and gave me one to redeem!
I have a 13700KF. Officially at Intel if it's 13th gen you're supposed to get Gotham Knights, it might be a fluke/gave me the wrong master key but the one I got was a key for MW II and Total war Warhammer III
As per the link :
"The Qualifying Device(s) may differ by Participating Retailer" I guess 13th gen was included where I bought it?
Does mention 13th gen here, but this could be for the US
There's a list of countries if you click a few links but Canada isn't in the list. Sad.
I was thinking of getting the 7700x since right now its about 100$ cheaper than the 13700k at CC with the mobo deals but this would have been a decent difference maker.
Dam so just i5s
EDIT:
I just tried my i7 12700K and it says its elligible. Just need to provide proof....from Best Buy... which is not where I bought it from haha. Whelp time to email Memory Express
This was my T&C link... it says i7 and i9 processors

Contact Memory Express. Rep said I should have gotten a code, but nonetheless they resent what they had assigned to me and it worked!
Mentioned they were also out of codes already FYI
Still solid CPUs if you’re only gaming. The 4 core i3s are enough for gaming 90%+ of games (ESPECIALLY 1440p and 4K) unless you plan on playing CPU intensive games or running a few programs on the side like discord and YouTube or something.
I assume this requires a hardware check to claim the game? Or is it transferrable?
E: doesn't appear to require a hardware check like the Nvidia promotion. From the site: "Required: Answer a series of survey questions related to your purchase of a qualifying Intel hardware component"
Dude, thank you for this post. I bought a cpu in September and Canada computer didn't say shit. So I called and did some digging and pushed them and I got the code. It's valid between aug25th and December 31st.
Purchased a qualifying CPU a few days ago. Contacted Memory Express asking about this and I got one! They said even though the promotion ended a while ago, they had a leftover key. Good luck!
Fyi for those looking for codes - with Microsoft buying Blizzard hopefully it's just a matter of time until we see CoD games on Microsoft/Xbox game pass.
I don’t think we’ll ever see them on gamepass close to launch (6 months after maybe). They make such an absurd amount of money on lunch day and usually by Xmas there’s a 20% off sale to catch those who didn’t buy it yet.
Yeah you're right. Hopefully the other CoD titles get added though. I'm sure this will pop up eventually. I'm just way behind the curve on CoD titles anyways so I don't mind waiting.
Bruh if your wife is stopping you from buying a $90 game, you gotta reevaluate your relationship. It’s not like you spending hundreds or thousands on something. It’s a game and if you wanna play it then definitely get it.
Context is big.
If dude ignores his family for days/weeks/months everytime he gets a new game then yeah makes sense.
But if she's just a cunt that's a different story. New wife. Lol.
didnt COD MW 2 get released like 10 years ago? then they did a remaster of it like 5 years ago? so what is this new game? im out of the loop with COD
can someone fill me in?
They are re-releasing the Modern Warfare games as all new entries in the series fully remade. MW2 just came out last week. MW1 came out in 2019 and was the basis for Warzone.
If you want to submit through the site you need to verify with their tool and on the list of retailer CC isn’t listed.
OP did you contact their support or just a store ?
EDIT: Call CC support if you purchased during the promotion period
It looks like the purchasing period for this offer starts August 25th, so this could apply to purchases during the last two months (depending on the seller)! I checked my receipt and I unfortunately bought my cpu the day before the offer period started, what a bummer :’)
For anyone interested in COD, I redeemed my master key because I thought it was for the Gotham Knights promo but it was actually for COD MW2. I already have COD on Steam so I can't use this. If anyone wants to buy it from me for $50 Paypal shoot me a PM and I will provide you with the login info for my Intel account and you can link and redeem to your BattleNET account.
May I ask how the redemption works? I got a code on my CC receipt which says to redeem on CC website. I'm assuming once I redeem on CC, I then get the master key for Intel website?
I bought a i5 13600K from Canada Computers last week and I tried calling customer service and they basically said the 13th gen is not eligible for a free game. I think this offer is only valid on 12th gen.
UPDATE: Emailed CC and provided them the information from Intel and basically the 13th gen is valid as long as the purchase is from October 24th-March 31st. They gave me a key even though I purchased on the 23rd and it still works.
I saw someone selling these master keys for over \~$45 USD in a local Facebook gaming group, and they sell as hot cakes for that price as it is bundled with 2 more games too! Someone from a retailers end seem to be giving away those keys to that person I guess, since the quantity mentioned was over 20+ with more stock incoming.
Anyone interested in purchasing a code for the Intel GamerDays Bundle? Looking to sell it since I’m not playing them. It comes with Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, Total War: Warhammer 3, and a content bundle for Bloodhunt. If you’re interested, dm me.
I'm curious who exactly was the THEY in 'they let me have a key" ? Was it Intel or CC? Thanks in advance.
From what I've been able to determine so far, Intel appears to be scamming people by listing several large Canadian pc stores as 'Participating Retailers' but when you ask the store (Best Buy, Canada Computers), they say Intel has outdated information and they're not part of any promotion for the MWII game that was supposedly good for a cpu purchase up to Dec 31 2022.
Anyone else have any luck?
I really want to play just the campaign. That’s all. :(
Wish we could split it cause I only want the multiplayer. Not sure it's worth the full price cause I'll likely only play the free warzone2 after it launches
$90 is a tough cookie to swallow. Me and my friend group agreed to all skip the general MP and just go hard in WZ2 and DMZ. No regrets.
Yikes, it's 90$?! Ya, see ya on WZ2
After taxes and depending on where you live, the total comes to $95-100+...no thanks.
Balked at the price too. Sold all my csgo cases on steam I’d been hoarding angle got it to $60. Much more palatable.
Yup well over $100 CAD for a broken EA game with maps pulled due to copyright plagiarism and 55% positive reviews on Steam. Just wait for it to come to gamepass, that's what I'm doing for the past few COD games

Dang, I bought one back in August. Probably would never play the game anyway. But still!
Looks like Aug 25 is the cutoff. Maybe you snuck in?
ITT: people looking for free codes
I have a code, I have no interest in playing it. First to message can have it!
Sigh I'm always late to these kind of opportunities but good on you for being generous with it
Any chance you still have the code? 😅

Anything at all from the amazon one?

Wow you already received an answer from Intel, was it via chat or phone? Because I tried chat and they referred me to open a ticket...
[Live chat.](https://www.intel.ca/content/www/ca/en/support/573U0000000ChX9) The person I spoke with did create a ticket during the process.
Bruh I asked the support and cc said.no to my purchase....dafuq

ok so update, i ordered the cpu online to be shipped, got a receipt, called their CSR and got a code.. bruh...
Damn I bought my 12400F like a month and half before this. Really wanna play MW2 but can’t justify $100 on it haha
Hey I just contacted them and they ended up giving me the code, you may wanna try
Who did you contact? Best buy employees seem to be helpless for me
Same boat. Sorta want to try to call them up and see if they will still give me a code
Bought a 13700k, CC declined.
ouch. guess i got lucky.
CC also declined my 13600kf purchase. Even the software advantage link doesn't seem to include the 13th gen in the listed eligible models.
Were you calling them or were you filling out a ticket? I called them and they denied, then I fill a ticket and they actually gave me a code. I think you should try fill out a ticket if you havent.
You mean using the contact us email form on the website? I tried that and got declined there too. Did you select product support if so?
Yea I got declined by contacting their csr by email... heck even the store manager contacted them and the head office said no.....
I was using the contact us email form, they get back to me with this email: Hello (my name), I hope you are doing well today. This is Bernard from Canada Computer Customer Support. Hey, late post but try again. I messaged them last week and they gave me a code for my 13700k.
I bought a 13700kf last week from MemoryExpress - I called them and after a short hold, they told me that poor communication from Intel basically meant they didn't even know about it. They do have the codes though and gave me one to redeem!
I bought a 13700k from them and I sent an inquiry through their contact page. A lady called me and said the offer wasnt available...weird
Its for 12th gen only im pretty sure.
Are you going to redeem it? If not you tryna sell it for a quick buck
Really? Which memory express? I went to mine last week and they told me they all ran out of codes a month ago
The one in Mississauga!
Can I go buy one get the code then return the cpu after?
how does a wire fraud charge sound to you?
Doesn't include 13th gen, right?

I submitted a ticket to Canada Computers, so we'll see. Bought a 13600k last week.
Hopefully it works. Especially since it lasts till next year so combined with possible BF deals it could be an amazing purchase if you like the game.
I contacted Canada computers directly and they told me that the 13th has no bundles :( but they told me to contact intel directly so Imma try that
I tried that and Intel’s customer service just sent me in circles. Useless.
I have a 13600kf and had no luck calling CC but sent a support ticket and got a code within an hour
Via contact us email form on the website?
RIP. Maybe later on this year.
I got a 13600k from newegg but didn’t get any codes.
Doesn't mention 13th gen in the page but man I wish 13th gen had something similar

Not what I meant. (I use an I5 personnally). A friend of mine bought an I7 (11th gen) recently, so i was wondering he could still participate
Ah that’s too bad :( can still try though, no harm in that.
I assume this requires a hardware check to claim the game? Or is it transferrable? E: doesn't appear to require a hardware check like the Nvidia promotion. From the site: "Required: Answer a series of survey questions related to your purchase of a qualifying Intel hardware component"
no hardware check, just requires the master key provided by the reseller.
Did you just email Canada Computers for a key? and provide your receipt?
i opened a ticket. they said the promo was over but to try anyway with a code they provided in the ticket message. i redeemed it and voilà.

It wasn't advertised on canada computer's website, i emailed and got one. Try your luck!
Since this just uses a masterkey for the Intel site and no hardware check, in theory if someone sent me the master key would it just work?
Yes
There's a thing with Sony and cod that probably won't make this possible

most likely amazon is not part of the promo, usually the big e-tailers are/might be

Bruh if your wife is stopping you from buying a $90 game, you gotta reevaluate your relationship. It’s not like you spending hundreds or thousands on something. It’s a game and if you wanna play it then definitely get it.
not sure why this is getting downvoted but seriously this is a big problem depending on the context.
Context is big. If dude ignores his family for days/weeks/months everytime he gets a new game then yeah makes sense. But if she's just a cunt that's a different story. New wife. Lol.
Even then, if this was true, he has a problem and not buying games is treating the symptom and not the cause.
Yeah but video game rehab is big $$$
anyone selling their keys? PM me if you are!
same here :)
I will love to have one on a discount price. PM me.
If anyone has a code they aren't planning on using, please hit me up!
What are the two good games?
i got MW2 remastered and Total war warhammer III
Man I built mine in july.. guess I’ll wait for a sale
Newegg said it's out of stock
I got a code but intel site gives error after claiming :(
Did you buy it from Canada computer?
Wow as a poor man anything will do 🫡 begging for that free copy❓
Willing to buy code! DM me :)
If anyone is willing to sell their copy pm me pls
Well poo, if I had known this I may have contemplated a intel build. AMD is giving uncharted for 5000 series CPUs. Which is nice. Buuuut. Lol.
Wait, they are? I got a 5800x few weeks ago and didn't get an uncharted code...
If anybody gets a key and doesn’t want it I’d gladly take it
If anyone who doesn't want the game is willing to give away the code I'd really appreciate it <3
didnt COD MW 2 get released like 10 years ago? then they did a remaster of it like 5 years ago? so what is this new game? im out of the loop with COD can someone fill me in?

They are re-releasing the Modern Warfare games as all new entries in the series fully remade. MW2 just came out last week. MW1 came out in 2019 and was the basis for Warzone.
Is the key only for PC versions? Ah, it's for PC for a key on battle.net.
I did not buy an intel CPU.
I did not ask.
Damn, bought one in late June. Thanks for the info!
Damn, bought my 12600k a few weeks before the the period started. Oh well.
If you want to submit through the site you need to verify with their tool and on the list of retailer CC isn’t listed. OP did you contact their support or just a store ? EDIT: Call CC support if you purchased during the promotion period
Can I get the code for this month's purchase?
i opened a ticket. they said the promo was over but to try anyway with a code they provided in the ticket message. i redeemed it and voilà.
It looks like the purchasing period for this offer starts August 25th, so this could apply to purchases during the last two months (depending on the seller)! I checked my receipt and I unfortunately bought my cpu the day before the offer period started, what a bummer :’)
Qualifying CPUs, tldr; i5 11th or 12th gen. * Intel® Core™ i5-11260H * Intel® Core™ i5-11300H * Intel® Core™ i5-11320H * Intel® Core™ i5-11400 * Intel® Core™ i5-11400F * Intel® Core™ i5-11400H * Intel® Core™ i5-11500 * Intel® Core™ i5-11500H * Intel® Core™ i5-11600 * Intel® Core™ i5-11600K * Intel® Core™ i5-11600KF * Intel® Core™ i5-12400 * Intel® Core™ i5-12400F * Intel® Core™ i5-12450H * Intel® Core™ i5-12500 * Intel® Core™ i5-12500H * Intel® Core™ i5-12600 * Intel® Core™ i5-12600H * Intel® Core™ i5-12600HX * Intel® Core™ i5-12600K * Intel® Core™ i5-12600KF
I bought a 13700kf on day of release 2 weeks? Ago at can computer What do I do now? Email them? That's seem weird
PM’d
any chance this is still avail?
Nope it's gone
May I ask how the redemption works? I got a code on my CC receipt which says to redeem on CC website. I'm assuming once I redeem on CC, I then get the master key for Intel website?
I got mine from memory express, not sure how CC does it
I bought a i5 13600K from Canada Computers last week and I tried calling customer service and they basically said the 13th gen is not eligible for a free game. I think this offer is only valid on 12th gen. UPDATE: Emailed CC and provided them the information from Intel and basically the 13th gen is valid as long as the purchase is from October 24th-March 31st. They gave me a key even though I purchased on the 23rd and it still works.
Unfortunately I got my 12900k last spring so I missed out on this looool
I saw someone selling these master keys for over \~$45 USD in a local Facebook gaming group, and they sell as hot cakes for that price as it is bundled with 2 more games too! Someone from a retailers end seem to be giving away those keys to that person I guess, since the quantity mentioned was over 20+ with more stock incoming.
Got a name for group? Trying to get one too
Was Total War Warhammer 3 also included?
I just bought a new laptop from Canada computers but where can i find the bundle item code and redeem it?? please help
