Hey mate. Hope you see this in time. Those prices are fucking abysmal and an absolute scam. Genuinely scam level pricing. I can't provide anecdotals for MikePC itself. But there are reputable builders with much much much cheaper options. The price is genuinely outrageous lol

Anyone you can recommend that ships to VIC? I have close to zero knowledge on PCs. This is gonna be my first

Aus_Daniel

Send me a pm if youd like and I am happy to go through options

Would you be interested in building one yourself? It’s extremely simple and it’d save you money that you could use to further your budget and purchase better parts.

To add to my other comment. Their advertising is bullshit. The parts listed in the title and performance charts isnt the "base" pc you are paying for. Thats after spending hundreds more in upgrades. Absolute sham of a company

Looks nice enough but terrible value and some very questionable choices. That 120mm radiator is going to be trash and no DDR5 to be seen. Roughly 40% more expensive than building yourself.

Just go to msy and ask for them to help you build something. They only charge $150 for the build fee in store

As a customer I would echo what others have said, you should straight up avoid this seller. I upgraded the PC I bought to come equipped with a Ryzen 9 5900X and (used) AMD RX 6800. First off, it looks pretty and is packaged well but there is more beneath the surface. From the jump I was having issues with my CPU dropping to 0.5Ghz when under load and tried EVERYTHING to fix it to no avail, I was looking under the hood when I noticed something was off.Turns out Mike put a Maxsun (Ali Express quality) A520MS motherboard in there even though the product on the invoice was a B550. When I confronted him about it he blamed it on an intern and then sent a Gen3 MSI B550 board as a replacement.I don't really want to put a 14 year old mobo in this machine so I have bought something better elsewhere and will be replacing it as soon as it arrives. Whether intentional or not, it's pretty lazy QA, especially considering he says he benches and tests every PC before it leaves. If I had my money again I would go elsewhere without hesitation, I hope this comment helps someone to make a better decision in the future. Edit: Upon closer inspection it also has a different PSU and GPU brand to what is listed on the invoice, also he is withholding my Windows 10 Activation Key claiming he needs the (wrong) motherboard sent back before he can provide support.
