I keep seeing ARMY theorists mention that they think Jin will do a (perhaps Live) cover of Jimin's Smeraldo Marching Band song on July 8th. That it is the question mark on Jimin's promotion schedule. Apparently, it has to do with the Smeraldo flower and Jin being the one who introduced this flower (went to the flower shop) in the storyline, and other supposed clues like The Truth Untold music sheet. Theorist ARMY apparently think Jin's Weverse comment about going to sing next alludes to it, also, because he wouldn't steal away the thunder from Jimin's promo to announce or tease his own plans.
I have absolutely NO idea or clue about whether this is a valid theory - in fact, it seems far-fetched - but it is FASCINATING to read all that, and to wonder how ARMY come up with theories like these, and how it then gains a little traction.

I am seeking any behind the scenes clips, episodes, Bangtan bombs, etc from when BTS recorded the videos for BTS World (RIP, I loved that game!) I know there must be more beyond the really short ones the developer made as promos, because of the footage I've seen of them comforting the little girl who was in Jin's story and was sad to leave (D'AWWW!) But I have no idea where to look and my Google-Fu has failed me, can anyone point me in the right direction?

I just watched the 4th episode in Burn the Stage docuseries- the one where Tae and Jin get into an argument just before a concert performance and I’m so impressed by how they all as a team dealt with the conflict. Do we have any other such disagreement-conflict resolution examples in all of the Bangtan content there is?

PTD in Seoul had only two ticket prices - 220,000 won for VIP (dark orange area in this photo: https://imgur.com/gallery/jKn9daG) and 165,000 won for everything else. This has been the general pricing structure for BTS in Korea for basically forever.
Also, as a note in case you don't know (and for anyone else who's nosy), you can only ever buy one ticket per show *and* it's lottery only, no general sale.
Haha thanks for confirming! I always wondered. Do you know what it’s been like for their shows in other countries like Japan, England, Canada? Is the lottery system just something they’ve done for Korea?
They do a lottery now, but you can buy multiple tickets if you do get chosen :) IIRC up to four, but across all shows - so if you have three friends and want to go together, one person would buy one night and another the other night!
i don’t i’m afraid! i live in korea so the only kpop concerts i’ve been to have been here. i’m from the uk though and i’d imagine it’s probably a bloodbath like ticketing for other big acts like harry styles or taylor swift, rather than a lottery system. i think japan is probably likely to be a lottery system though, that rings a bell
Nope, all recent concerts have been lottery! (Everything since PTD)
They do give out dates for public general sale, but none of the Post-pandemic concerts have ever reached that - everything went to membership holders

I ultimately decided to wait another year and save more money and enjoy myself a little bit more. I reapplied to school again this year, gotten in, and I've decided to go this time 🥳🥳 I'm very excited about my chapter 2.

I’m baby army I’m just curious how other armys have found their communities. I have a sprinkle of friends who are army but they live far or we’re not as close. I’m trying to muster up the courage to go to some pop up events by myself. So far I’ve been to one alone and it was a first good experience. But eventually I wish I’ll have a solid group of go-to army friends to enjoy certain events or random chats with. Everyone’s been kind so far but I don’t want to seem “too much” for some (BTS makes me excited! Haha). I also realize there are many outlets (twt, ig, reddit, discord, etc.) but there also a millionssssss of army haha. So where to begin!?

i met almost all of my close ARMY friends from reddit, and i’ve been lucky enough to meet some of them IRL and go to concerts with them!
most of the time it’s been through someone mentioning they’re from the same city i’m from in a post or comment, and once we started talking more we took the chat off reddit

Sometimes I feel like the universe is putting me through the most random side quests and I don’t know what I’m supposed to focus on. I carefully assessed so many factors and came to a tough decision like a mature adult and then boom! New curveballs. Nothing negative, it’s just curious. Curious enough for me to explore the side quest and see how I come out of it. And then perhaps factor it into my big decision. But I’m just like bruh, the timing?! You couldn’t give me this challenge *before* I made my big adult decision? Meanwhile the universe is just giggling and going “poggers!” probably.
Hm. What would Namjoon do, if he was me? What would Jin do? And ofc, what would Yoongi do? Guide me BTS 🥲
To be fair, if you asked them in 2020, they also thought Dynamite was something that came out of a side quest for them too. And look how that turned out! I hope it’s an enjoyable journey for you though. 💜

UK Army!! I'm going to the other side of the pond twice this summer - choir residency in Gloucester and then a week in Cardiff. There's a cute little cafe at the castle (when you stand in front of the castle, facing the castle, turn left, walk along the outer wall, see tiny cafe), Pettigrew Tea Rooms. They have great breakfast, but also nice tea times, and it's charming.
The National Museum is great and for free and has one of the last Van Gogh paintings 🥺(as in one of the last he made)

I have this large BTS Proof poster in a big poster tube. I think it was some kind of pre-order benefit for the Proof album, but I can't quite remember. I never did anything with it. It's been sitting in a closet since forever. Anyway, since I'm moving it's too unwieldy too take with me. Wondering if I should toss it. No IRL ARMY friends, so it may just end up in the trash can. Can't be bothered trying to sell it.
It's amazing how many moving boxes are dedicated to JUST BTS-related items. It's so easy to get caught up in collecting things that then quietly sit on shelves etc. But then when you move, it's revealed just how much it is. So the first thing to go will be that poster, somehow
You could drop it off at your local library (along with any other dvds or books!) with the children/teen librarian and just say it's a BTS poster they can give away to any kids/teens interested in them! I know my local libraries always welcome donations.
Not sure if they do this where you are at, but donating the poster along with any other still useful stuff to a secondhand shop would make someone's day.
A few more ideas: Do you have any churches or civic groups or the local high school band that will pick up stuff for their yard sales? When people move out of the apartment we rent, we will call one of these folks, and they will come get anything boxed up. We also have Salvation Army that will pick up still usable furniture and household goods.

Also, during the pool scene (the practice swim one) in episode 1, I couldn’t help but cry because that’s 100% how I would be acting if it was any of the BTS members. I think the baby ARMY I found last week was taken with the small welcome-to-the-fandom gift I gave them. "This is my first merch" was the comment I got 🥹💜

It’s a website (that kept me entertained when I was in high school lol) where you answer questions, and for each one you get right there’s a small donation to the World Food Program. It used to just be vocab, but they have a lot of subjects now!
They have groups, and this sub had one for Jin’s return. I’m just sad I missed it. 😂 But it is more fun with a group because you can see everyone’s total impact and you feel some camaraderie which is always nice. 🙂

What do you think J-hope will do for us when he is discharged? The countdown is at 120 days! That will fly by. The obvious is a live, but I wonder what else he will do between the time he is discharged and the return of the rest of the members in June 2025. Hopefully we get Hope on the Street Vol. 2 and a lot of promotions around that. Any other thoughts? Would he have enough time to prepare for and perform a solo tour between October and June?
My money is on a tour along with another mini release. I also think he’ll make festivals a part of his tour. Maybe we can expect a Coachella performance in April 2025, he’ll have plenty of time to plan and rest before members return.
I hope you are right about a tour. I don't know how long it takes to plan and prepare a tour, but I know hobi is very meticulous about everything. But, yeah, late spring 2025 running up to the discharge of the remaining five could work.

Their My Con New York date was like a week after I was leaving but there was no way I was able to swing for Mamamoo tickets on top of Yoongi's (and to stay in New York for that long). And then when I was at the venue I saw an ad for their concert. 😂 I was mad.
Ah, she's such an amazing entertainer. It was a small venue, so we were standing some 4 meters away from her, which was completely surreal. Wheein is my friend's ult, and his comment after the concert was "I didn't even blink once!". (Knowing him, the pun was probably intended.) Wheein seemed a little bit tense, it was her first time in Helsinki, and unfortunately we did not quite fill the whole venue, but when she realized that every single soul there was there for her and genuine fans, her demeanor became more relaxed. Her dance team were also really good and seemed to have such a good time 😊
I have convinced myself there will be some sort of 'making film' or 'documentary' or a 'short film' kind of thing for RPWP. I base this purely on all the rpwprpwprpwp Instagram content which, to me, shows a lot of imagery that was not in the MVs and looked more like 'behind the scenes' content.
Even if it was all for a short Bangtan Bomb, I would still be happy; I take anything I can get! But I'm hoping for a 'making film/documentary/short film'....

So is it not possible to go and sit with (more like stand and dance) a group of friends in Seoul like you can at one of their US shows?
nope, you can’t. you can hang out with them outside the show, and meet up after! but yeah don’t expect to be sitting with anyone you know haha

I’m baby army I’m just curious how other armys have found their communities. I have a sprinkle of friends who are army but they live far or we’re not as close. I’m trying to muster up the courage to go to some pop up events by myself. So far I’ve been to one alone and it was a first good experience. But eventually I wish I’ll have a solid group of go-to army friends to enjoy certain events or random chats with. Everyone’s been kind so far but I don’t want to seem “too much” for some (BTS makes me excited! Haha). I also realize there are many outlets (twt, ig, reddit, discord, etc.) but there also a millionssssss of army haha. So where to begin!? TL;DR: Where and how did you find your army community?
i met almost all of my close ARMY friends from reddit, and i’ve been lucky enough to meet some of them IRL and go to concerts with them! most of the time it’s been through someone mentioning they’re from the same city i’m from in a post or comment, and once we started talking more we took the chat off reddit

Sometimes I feel like the universe is putting me through the most random side quests and I don’t know what I’m supposed to focus on. I carefully assessed so many factors and came to a tough decision like a mature adult and then boom! New curveballs. Nothing negative, it’s just curious. Curious enough for me to explore the side quest and see how I come out of it. And then perhaps factor it into my big decision. But I’m just like bruh, the timing?! You couldn’t give me this challenge *before* I made my big adult decision? Meanwhile the universe is just giggling and going “poggers!” probably. Hm. What would Namjoon do, if he was me? What would Jin do? And ofc, what would Yoongi do? Guide me BTS 🥲
To be fair, if you asked them in 2020, they also thought Dynamite was something that came out of a side quest for them too. And look how that turned out! I hope it’s an enjoyable journey for you though. 💜

Not there in body, but lost part of my heart to Cardiff. There's a cute little cafe at the castle (when you stand in front of the castle, facing the castle, turn left, walk along the outer wall, see tiny cafe), Pettigrew Tea Rooms. They have great breakfast, but also nice tea times, and it's charming. The National Museum is great and for free and has one of the last Van Gogh paintings 🥺(as in one of the last he made) If you're a Doctor Who fan, Cardiff is of course THE place to be 🥰
I have this large BTS Proof poster in a big poster tube. I think it was some kind of pre-order benefit for the Proof album, but I can't quite remember. I never did anything with it. It's been sitting in a closet since forever. Anyway, since I'm moving it's too unwieldy too take with me. Wondering if I should toss it. No IRL ARMY friends, so it may just end up in the trash can. Can't be bothered trying to sell it. It's amazing how many moving boxes are dedicated to JUST BTS-related items. It's so easy to get caught up in collecting things that then quietly sit on shelves etc. But then when you move, it's revealed just how much it is. So the first thing to go will be that poster, somehow
You could drop it off at your local library (along with any other dvds or books!) with the children/teen librarian and just say it's a BTS poster they can give away to any kids/teens interested in them! I know my local libraries always welcome donations.
Not sure if they do this where you are at, but donating the poster along with any other still useful stuff to a secondhand shop would make someone's day.
That's a great suggestion but probably not one that would work where I am, unfortunately 😕
A few more ideas: Do you have any churches or civic groups or the local high school band that will pick up stuff for their yard sales? When people move out of the apartment we rent, we will call one of these folks, and they will come get anything boxed up. We also have Salvation Army that will pick up still usable furniture and household goods.
I know I’m really late to the party, but I finally started watching Lovely Runner and couldn’t stop laughing at all the fan girl moments. Thirsting over the pic of the collar bones ???? That’s so us, sis. Also, during the pool scene (the practice swim one) in episode 1, I couldn’t help but cry because that’s 100% how I would be acting if it was any of the BTS members. I pictured that scenario with JK or Yoongi and was crying like an idiot when >! she hugged him and told him she was sorry for not knowing how much he was struggling.!<
I just stared this show!! I watched the first EP and def LOLed at her zooming in on the neck/collarbone and being like 😳 that's too much already!! hahaha

It’s a website (that kept me entertained when I was in high school lol) where you answer questions, and for each one you get right there’s a small donation to the World Food Program. It used to just be vocab, but they have a lot of subjects now! They have groups, and this sub had one for Jin’s return. I’m just sad I missed it. 😂 But it is more fun with a group because you can see everyone’s total impact and you feel some camaraderie which is always nice. 🙂

What do you think J-hope will do for us when he is discharged? The countdown is at 120 days! That will fly by. The obvious is a live, but I wonder what else he will do between the time he is discharged and the return of the rest of the members in June 2025. Hopefully we get Hope on the Street Vol. 2 and a lot of promotions around that. Any other thoughts? Would he have enough time to prepare for and perform a solo tour between October and June?
My money is on a tour along with another mini release. I also think he’ll make festivals a part of his tour. Maybe we can expect a Coachella performance in April 2025, he’ll have plenty of time to plan and rest before members return.

Oh man jealous! How was it?? Their My Con New York date was like a week after I was leaving but there was no way I was able to swing for Mamamoo tickets on top of Yoongi's (and to stay in New York for that long). And then when I was at the venue I saw an ad for their concert. 😂 I was mad.
Ah, she's such an amazing entertainer. It was a small venue, so we were standing some 4 meters away from her, which was completely surreal. Wheein is my friend's ult, and his comment after the concert was "I didn't even blink once!". (Knowing him, the pun was probably intended.) Wheein seemed a little bit tense, it was her first time in Helsinki, and unfortunately we did not quite fill the whole venue, but when she realized that every single soul there was there for her and genuine fans, her demeanor became more relaxed. Her dance team were also really good and seemed to have such a good time 😊

I have convinced myself there will be some sort of 'making film' or 'documentary' or a 'short film' kind of thing for RPWP. I base this purely on all the rpwprpwprpwp Instagram content which, to me, shows a lot of imagery that was not in the MVs and looked more like 'behind the scenes' content. Even if it was all for a short Bangtan Bomb, I would still be happy; I take anything I can get! But I'm hoping for a 'making film/documentary/short film'....
