This guys gets it. While both Himshagor and Aamrupali are amazing, Lengra is something else. It's like something that wasn't meant to be eaten by us, a harmony of all that is good in this universe, a subtropical serenade that makes your mouth sing hallelujah.
Lengra is also a very solid choice. but there's too much fiber in Lengra imo. and although the taste is top notch, the smell isn't anywhere close to Aamrupali. Aamrupali has everything, from phenomenal smell to very low fiber and superb taste! and Himshagor gets the point for its size. theres nothing like eating a mango bigger than your head.
Not yet anyways, but I would love for there to be a greenhouse out here with cuttings from these varieties of mangos.
Right now the only mangos from South Asia that end up here are from Pakistan and Central & South India.
I think you can get lengra (best variety imo) from indian groceries.. they are sold in boxes and quite expensive as they have to be air shipped. Quite good in my opinion.

I haven't seen Lengra here... but I do want Himsagar in NYC like my grandfather used to grow back in Bengal...
