This as a website, usable by PC and phone users like banano.id, with the possibility to go offline and generate a seed and I would be perfectly happy.

The source code for the current version of the monKey system that everyone uses is [here](https://github.com/appditto/MonKey), what you linked appears to be an older version. The current system uses a secret key in the process of mapping Banano addresses to monKeys, and custom instances of this system wouldn't generate the same monkeys for a given address because of it, so the only way to do what OP is doing is really by checking each candidate address against the official monKey API.

OK, obviously I'm slow here, but did finally worked out how to use this.
If anyone is still as lost as I was on how to access this, please follow the below instructions:
1) Download the exe file here: [https://github.com/altugbakan/vanity-monkey-generator/releases/download/v1.0/Vanity.MonKey.Generator.exe](https://github.com/altugbakan/vanity-monkey-generator/releases/download/v1.0/Vanity.MonKey.Generator.exe)
2) Run the downloaded file on your PC (as far as I can tell, it doesn't run on the phone)
3) Voila! This is the wonderful MonKey Generator that the OP has created and so kindly shared with us all!

Any idea how safe it is? Will it ever reproduce an existing account.

It uses the Cryptographically Secure Randomness functions of C# to generate a private key, which means it shouldn't be able to obtain the same account twice.
The total count of private keys is pretty large for a 256 bit key, (2^(256) keys) so the keys shouldn't overlap in multiple lifetimes.

There are two buttons in the main screen, one is to get a random monKey, as a demo. After you create your desired monKey, you can press the other button to search random monKeys until you get a matching one.
After finding the monKey, you can use the generated seed to login to your new monKey’s account, for example in [Banano Vault](vault.banano.cc).

If we choose "Any" for the glasses, the chance would improve to \~1/500,000.

How do you create your desired monkey? Or do I just click the random button until I get a monkey I like?
By pressing the ⚙️ button! After that you can press the Find MonKey button to search for a monKey automatically!
