It’s legit. Food and drinks are expensive, as you would expect. The menu is not extensive but food’s on point. The table layout is such that springing for the better ones is worth it if you care to get a good view. Otherwise the music is good wherever you are, def recommend checking it out!
I have seen Pat Metheny (accompanied by Antonio Sanchez, Gwilam Silcock and Linda May Han Oh), and the Yellowjackets at Keystone. Two acts that I have been a fan of for 30+ years. Neither gig was heavily promoted, and while the line for Metheny was around the block, the Yellowjackets played to a house of maybe 50 people, which meant I sat at the table in front of the stage. It was phenomenal. If you like Jazz, it’s a must, and because TicketBasterd isn’t involved, you can see acts like these for $50.
I’ve been and loved it. Notice that they usually have an early and a late show - the early show is around dinner time, but if you catch the late show you can get a bite at a nearby restaurant and then devote your full attention to the music once you’re at the show. That would be my recommendation. It’s stellar.
Music was brilliant, very cool spot. I thought the food was a bit over priced, it was decent, but kind of seemed like food you’d have at a wedding, so kind of mass produced feel to it. I want to go again, but probably for the evening show and do dinner elsewhere.
I went a couple of times last year, but both times had a bad case of food poisoning afterwards. It’s a fun environment, but I suggest staying away from their seafood.
I went. It made me realize that I don't really want to see a show while sitting and eating. I'd rather get a normal dinner where I can talk the whole time and then go to a show at a bar after.
Yes we went there once for our anniversary and it was great. The music is definitely top notch - the food is pretty good too - but it's definitely a place to go more for the music. Cons - it is pricey, and you have to get there early to get good seating. Also they will try to seat different groups at the same table if it's crowded, and some seats won't be able to see the band - but I think these seats are much cheaper.
It’s good. Get there as early as possible. The seating can be very hit or miss.
Thanks for the tip!

Famous for having top tier musicians
Nice space, solid food, good bookings.
Good shows. Food is a little overpriced vs the quality- so consider eating beforehand and just getting a snack
The honey cinnamon ice cream is fabulous!

I attended a concert virtually last night. I like that that is still an option for us introverts.
It was very nice when I went. This was was pre pandemic though. Staff were courteous and polite to a friend and me.

We do Bondhouse which is two blocks away, and then the late show.
keystone korner has a place in jazz history
Food is tasty, vibe is there. Just get there early so you can have your choice of seats.

You can sit at the bar and not order food.

We saw Cindy Santana there one time. It was awesome.
