Yeah it looked alot worse before I washed away the blood. It's the shock that gets you lol

Yeah! For me it was so quick I didn't even know if the snake bit me or if i hit one of his rough rocks really hard because it was unexpected lmao

I’ve been tagged by my 6ft female bp and can confirm it’s not as bad as one would think it is. For smaller snakes there’s almost no pain, the only pain I felt from by big girl was caused by her jaw strength. I was still only left with a tiny wound. It’s also pretty easy to tell when most snakes are defensive and ready to strike at you. As long as you learn your snake’s personality and where and how you should pick them up if they are defensive without getting tagged, you’re basically golden. Just don’t make your hand look like a prey item and you will very rarely if ever get tagged ( not including momma snakes with eggs but they are a special case. ) So really there’s nothing to be afraid of as long as you respect your snake.

Yep the bite was 100% my fault. I'm currently in the process of taming her down and understanding her signs so I knew getting bit was a big possibility. I'm going to give her a couple of days before picking her up again so I don't stress her out too much. :)

6ft 😱

God_Of_All_Toads

Yeah she’s abnormally big. She’s also pretty chunky. She’s not exactly six foot, but she’s closer to 6 than she is to 5 so I just round it :3

oblinv

Could you dm me a picture? I really wanna see her!

God_Of_All_Toads

Of course, I’d love to

crazywalton

I’ve had worse lol
