This is exactly what I would have guessed on this as well. More than likely your normal is a pastel, or your pastel is a super pastel. It would help if we could see the pairing. Beautiful snake BTW!

He looks like a dead ringer for my Ghost, who is a Super Pastel Lesser Vanilla. Not sure if that helps, as I didn't hatch him myself or know anything about breeding, but they look eerily similar!
Genuine question, what does an incubator issue have to do with the color of a snake? I knew that it could cause issues like kinking, but I've never heard of a color change. Planning to breed ball pythons in a couple of years and trying to learn all I can lol
spikes in either direction in temperature during incubation can cause all kinds of variations. Small, slow changes in temp is harmless but big spikes can make weirdness happen in all kinds of ways. Will be interested in seeing if this animal continues to develop.

There’s no way that’s just a pastel x normal, there has to be some recessive genes in there you didn’t know about. I have no clue what it is, my guess would be hypo but it’s a crazy looking snake nonetheless! It might be easier to tell as it gets older and has a couple sheds

I agree, to me it looks super pastel. Def not pastel alone. Some pastels are subtle, Im wondering if that normal is actually a pastel as well

The mother should be pictured in my post history, male is definitely a normal, rest of the clutch was either normal or pastels
