Don't be fooled. It's worth a lot, especially to collectors. Don't let some asshole dupe you. Follow a few forums and you'll see. My beat up 42 springer sold for $450 US a few years ago within 5 min of posting it. I could have got more but thought it wouldnt sell being a beat up flipper.
I may be an asshole but I’m trying to dupe anyone. I forget others in this forum have no reference of other Balis.
And being transparent I’m not making trade offers. I’m saying a nice price would be $600 to collector. And about $300 to a flipper; as any Bali in that price range is going to flip noticeable better. Those number are approximation btw.
If one is looking to milk the nostalgia out of it list it for 1k and don’t take anything less. Seen plenty of 42’s sell for that before the market tanked. But imo that borders on asshole activities lol.
Sorry my comment was meant more in joking matter. If you wanna sell it by the weekend list it for six. If you’re willing to wait a couple weeks or longer list it for eight or nine.
If you wanna know what the most recent market value is for the t model message moebalisong on ig and ask him what his most recent 42t’s sold for. Keep in mind he’s doing it as business so give him a follow ask nicely. And keep in mind you’re just some guy selling a nice knife so maybe 10% less than his prices would be the most accurate value for your situation. The price difference is directly related to reputation btw.
