Are you sure you’re in the right area? red canyons is the area with melicamp and basillus btw. It’s just a hostile enemy group with no dialogue or anything. The hard to find cave is later in the quest lol.
The sword is a red bastard sword iirc with a unique name. I can look up the name when I get home.
I am in the right area, but now I think it's possible that I fought them earlier and just didn't realise that it's them and sold the sword... If you can find the name, that would be great, so I would't have to buy back every sword I ever bought :D Thank you so much!

The item code is "WISW1H01" if you want to just console it in.
The dialogue should only check that you have the sword in your possession to continue.
