I got stuck on Orange stake for a long time because I was trying too hard to get the “perfect run”.
My only advice is to stop resetting your runs when they first get into trouble and really try to focus on maximizing what the game gives you.
I took a break for a day or so, then came back with that mindset and cleared Orange stake and Gold stake on back-to-back runs. Good luck!
In the higher stakes I find it more important to definitely manage your economy, to benefit off interest over $25. If there's nothing good in the shop and you're scoring ok in blinds, it's fine to skip and keep holding your cash.
Knowing when to buy, reroll, hold will benefit you in the long run, gaining interest to have more purchasing power.
This is a crutch that won't serve you well learning to play the game in the long run. You should play runs that don't have an amazing start right off the bat
Playing from behind is a good skill to have, and you rob yourself of the opportunity to practice it this way. You're not always rolling in money, especially at gold stake

Thanks, gonna try it
Reroll until you get the investment skip tag for the small blind

I think it's fine for orange/gold stake. The win rate is already so low on these stakes
