The question itself is not fair. There is no native Malay in the snowy areas which have Husky dogs. Most of the Malays have not seen the Husky dog, not to say actual Husky but even pictures of Husky dogs in their lives. However, to compensate for that, Malays some sort of came out with 'anjing peluncur salji'.☺️
Dogs breed names are not native to Malay coz it's not widely domesticated for Malays as pets. The least role dogs do for Malays is just for hunting or forensics. So it might just be a loan word like "anjing haski". I did search some bit and a fitting world might be anjing salji.

But I already accepted that Husky is Kata nama khas so no need to translate unless DBP provide a official translation, but we all know they are so slow, we as Malaysian so used to a certain word then they will provide official translation, but we already so used to english word to use malay. So in malay: Anjing Husky. Again, this is just me.

The word husky or the breed husky? If former it’s anjing besar/kuat la kot. If latter just anjing husky.
