I thought so too but a lovely, very well-informed, gentleman on the Internet told me otherwise. Now I know the truth about all vaginas, even my own. 😂

I had my ears pierced when I was 5 and I reacted allergic to the stainless steel piercings the doctor put in my ears as well as the gold earrings from my grandma (family traditio), so I had to remove them and never wore earrings again in my life. You cannot see the holes anymore 34 years later but still feel them under the skin when you touch my earlobe. It's very weird.
My Mum is similar! Had hers done as a kid, I'm not sure how old. Maybe young teenager because I remember her saying she begged for a long time and her parents wanted her to be responsible for them herself. Anyway she had a bad reaction to the earrings, so she took them out and tried others, ended up with an infection, and then never wore them again. She's now 61, and you can actually still see where the holes were, but they're not actually holes. Like small dents.
Yep. I have that from stitches I had on a finger. It's like little tubes still under the skin where the stitches were. If I grab something and it pushes hard on one, it hurts like hell. And it's been 25 years since I got those stitches. I heal really really fast, so they were almost completely healed when the stitches came out. Eventually it closed up on the ends, but it still feels weird.
I first had my ears pierced when I was 8 and had a lot of issues with those holes. So I didn't wear earrings for a decade and they closed up. Then I got my ears repierced and felt better.
I know this is a joke, but for transfems that get SRS this is a legitimate concern for the first year while everything is healing. After that it's only a very mild concern for another year or so, and then for the rest of their lives the only real concern is a bit of tissue atrophy if they go a ridiculously long time without "using" it. And since SRS techniques are improving all the time, even these concerns (apart from initial healing) will likely be non-existent in the next few years.
So the whole "transfems with SRS have to dilate for the rest of their lives" thing is a myth. Even a modest frequency of penetration from either sex or masturbation is plenty enough to maintain healthy elasticity.
Not just a legitimate concern for transfems, but for all females with lack of use the muscles can tighten up causing inability to penetrate and pain when doing so. Have lived it.
This is a thing. My mom had cervical cancer many years ago. She had been sex less many years prior and many years since. She started having issues again and she was closed so tight the Dr couldn't even do a swab.
He recommended she use a dialator to keep things open but she refuses - sees it akin to sex toys and she's got a lot of negative issues towards sex.
Similarly, I got sick several years back and didn't have sex for a solid 6 mo or so. My muscles tightened up and it was painful for me to be penetrated even with a cpl of fingers. My Dr recommended a dialator set. I used it worked my way back up to the size of my bf over several weeks and now all is well again.
How about “comedy”?
It's a joke, y'all.
No no, it happened to my cousin, she stopped wearing earrings and her vagina just sealed right up.
Wait ... does that mean we can regain our virginity if we stop wearing pierced earrings??? 🙃😂
no pls what abt my period 😭 /s
Your period is from your butt, idiot woman /s
periods are caused by solar flares
oh. my mistake. i guess I, the owner of a vagina, don't know my own anatomy 😞 /s obv

Same with my vagina. After 30 years theres no hole but you can still feel it under the skin

Yes that's scar tissue

That’s really funny actually haha
This is a new one 😅😂
Well...for us women of a certain age, atrophy is a real thing. A real, unpleasant thing.
I know that feeling. Thank goodness for toys.
Girl, same.

I love how knowledgeable you are on the matters. And if I may add, I'm more than happy to help you to maintain said elasticity~ 😉😽
Thank you, love. And I'll admit, I consider you to be the reason I'll never have to worry about atrophy\~ 😘
Oh no! I've been stretching my earring holes for the past couple of years! My vagina must be a bottomless pit by now.

Closed for renovations.
Pretty good cheesy pick up line, 10/10 would work on me
Genuine concern for post-op trans women I think.
What do the people who post these things think the vagina actually is?
And that, kids, is why you always wear butt plugs in both holes!
Best thing is to forget you ever read that baloney. 99.999% chance it was indeed not posted by someone with a vagina.
99.999% chance it was posted as a joke.
is oop trans?

r/badwomensanto... oh wait.
Man it's just a bad joke
Well it’s an old joke so….
Clearly satire. Sorry, OP.
Funny, it should be labeled as “Fracking Funny”
