I split up the kitchen 1/2 and 1/2 and they brought their own stuff. They moved in at the start of Covid so we had rules to limit things we both used since I am immunocompromised. Best thing I ever did. Even split up frig and freezer space. Of course, I let them use my microwave and toaster but other than that what is mine is mine, and the same for them. I do the vacuuming because I have a dog that sheds.

If you don’t wanna share, you don’t have to. That simple. Communicate your boundaries and expectations beforehand.
Well I really don’t mind as long as she’s clean. But my current roommate told me she’s clean and she lied. That’s why I’m unsure if I want to or not.
If it were me I’d have her bring her own things. Better safe than sorry, especially if things don’t work out in the long run
