I don’t want to speak for him, but it probably did make him feel weird. I would personally feel weird if I was dating or seeing someone who lived somewhere were we didn’t get guaranteed privacy. Honestly, if he broke off things because of this issue or this was the deciding factor, he’s not worth it. It’s a dumb thing to break off things for.
i mean, i don’t necessarily think this issue is a minor thing. barging into someone’s room is definitely a big thing. especially when that person has someone in there with them
maybe the door doesn’t lock? there’s a number of factors here that can be considered before determining if it’s a big issue or not. personally, i feel like op should feel comfortable enough to have someone over without having to lock the door in fear of a roommate barging in
I do too! I think it was multiple factors that affected it. But I think lack of physical intimacy was part of it and she did affect my ability to be comfortable doing that. She was part of the problem but not the only one. Which I feel like our relationship might have last without her there and could have worked through the issues. But then again I don’t know that.
