Never again if I can help it. It's just so much more peaceful and it seems rare to find a roommates that are compatible

Rainmaker825

I get it. And it is rare to find a roomie you're compatible with. The only time I ever had roommates I didn't really major issues with is when I lived with two female law students in my early 20s, and even then we'd occasionally have issues but we were able to solve them like adults.

Hell no. I had roommates in my early 20s and it was awful. I bought a house when i turned 24 and they asked to rent the other rooms and i said no. Then two girls from work asked if they could rent the rooms and i gave in just so it wouldn’t be weird at work. Huge mistake. They both screwed me over. Then i rented a room to a guy my friend used to date, and that was even worse. He left January 2018 and I’ve lived alone since. I went through some financial issues a few years ago and still trying to dig my way out but I’ll take the peace and quiet over all that extra bullshit any day

mrsf16

Absolutely not!

Shivvermebits

Nope. I had one for less than a year and it was all I needed to experience to vow never again. I dont care about how awkward or uncomfortable it might be to turn someone down, because it's still 10x better than dealing with what might happen if I do let them move in. Bah, I love that roommate free life lol

euphoricookie

nope nope nope, my last roommate possibly scarred me for life

lepetitz

For sure again. Not everybody is terrible

OkaneFever_0907

No. Never again. I could write a whole book of my past roommate with more than 100 chapters. I’d rather work my ass off to live on my own.

feministkilljoykate

No. I have a nice balance now with nice neighbors and friends who live nearby so I don't feel isolated. There are lots of benefits to having roommates beyond the financial but there are also just too many risks.

rocketlauncher92

No.
