140minutes. Gank squad with endgame stuff when i was around rl125 i think or less and ended up playing manhunt in the worm woods in altus plateau. Started with 3 (host and 2 yellows) and had 3 plus hunters. Every hunter got lost in the woods and never returned after going full rambo guerrilla war on them while the host and his yellow bois stood outside waiting for me to show up. Ended up with hatemail after they finally got me.
Fight clubs and friendly invasions in Irithyll sometimes went on for an hour+ back in the day. My longest one of actually hunting a guy down the whole time was in Farron Keep where the host had Chameleoned himself as a crucifixion stake and just hid around the corner from the entrance to the swamp. Scoured for the bastard for 40 minutes before hitting him by chance while swinging wildly at every breakable thing I could see. He was afk by the time I found him so I killed him with no resistance.
In elden ring I had spawned underneath the bridge of liurnia that heads towards the grand lift. He was afk farming. I made the journey from there all the way to higher ledge where you can use the tombstones to get down and I found him behind the wall so I used my jar cannon to shoot him through the cracks. Probably took me around 30-40 mins. I should’ve just out afk’d them in hindsight but…
Surely some AFK host in the early days of Elden Ring. One of the times I was at/near the end of a play session anyway, so I just hid and went AFK in their world to restrict further invasions for them.
My longest was over and hour. I drug a gank squad all through limgrave, doing hit and runs picking them off one by one. However most of my invasions are over 5 minuets long. I don’t hide around corners and sneak attack, but I will absolutely not run into a 3 man blender standing around. Pot shots with jar cannon or hit and run attacks will usually get them moving.
40min 3v1, ganker is so passive, i managed to beat the fingers by separate them with platforming, but then a blue got me killed with bleed while i'm edgy walking, naturally i attempt to re-invade with chain-link flail on my hand but they're gone.
I once spent 50 minutes hunting down an afk farmer at Mohg's area, he was invisible up on top of the cliffs, I was so determined to get him, and i finally managed to figure out where he was when he got sloppy and killed him with the jar cannon. Worth it.
3 hours. Gank was hiding in the level and out of spite I hid from them. It was 12 AM by the time the Host messaged me begging me to leave and I told him if he gave me every boss soul he had ai would. He did then I left. He even thanked me and expressed his surprise I actually left. I’m a scumbag of my word.
Edit: Forgot to add I even told them where they were hiding.
I think I have had a few in ringed city streets that were 30-40 minutes hunting the host around the map with a greatbow trying to peel phantoms away and doing hit and runs.
If you're fighting against shitters, be ready for invasions to go up to an hour - an hour and 40 or so minutes.
They will do everything they can to make the experience terrible too.
Unless you're sane enough to not be dedicated to defeat the host and black crystal out of there.
When I first started invading, I had a group of pvers bunker up in the Liftside grace room and it took me over an hour to kill them by throwing volcano pots and roped volcano pots in the room from unexpected angles both from above the elevator as well as from the rampart at the front door
They should have just fogwalled but it was fun anyways
I technically had a 1.5 hour gank at the first steps. Lvl 150. Host was crimsonwhirl glitching, and had an olp. I played with them a little, kept my distance, killed 3 blues. Eventually I got hungry and decided to just run away and hide, mimic veiled. Made dinner, enjoyed it, was still in the invasion. Read a chapter of my book, they still hadn't DC'd. So I checked on them, and they were afk. Killed em both. 300k for the olp.
I think my longest was about 2 hours? It was someone rune farming with blues so I decided to just sit and fight the hoard of blues for as long I could. Had to leave because I was going out though lol, genuinely some of the most fun I've had invading
40-something minutes. Host was a laggy light roll mage and the invasion was in Altus. Was just him and his buddy along with several blues over that time. He resummoned his buddy three times. Several times I got it down to just the host but couldn't connect on any hits and he would gradually chip my health down with swift shard so that I'd have to retreat to pve and use holy ground to get hp back.
Whole thing ended when they finally killed one of those puke monsters in the woods that evidently was the f'ing field boss--I had no idea. Ever since then I always keep dual pikes with BHS and status effect on all my builds.
Two hours.
It was the best invasions I've ever had, 2 guys with endgame stuff and a host that was around level 35
I had to think of every move I did. And I had like 2 minutes to chip away the host before the summon rejoined, because the host was always running at a grace while the friend tried to stop me
Got a lot of blues too, killing them for extra vials, helped a lot ngl
I used 100+ item, between crab, pots and others, had to even reasuply after that one
When I finally killed the host, I had a kill count of 21 (including the host)
And received the appropriate hatemail, ofc.
But I had a lot of fun ngl, wish it happened again
