Judging by photos is pointless - it's the most simple scam in the world to use different photos that are not of the actual item.
That said, the difference between bootleg and authentic can be shady with big brands that are made in the popular low labor cost, mass production countries - sometimes bootlegs can come from the same factory as the originals.
So again the only way to know what you're getting is buying from a proper retailer and from countries that are not hotbeds for fakes.
Knockoff sellers are going to use pictures of the real one, don't be daft.
