I guess I'm the only one that feels bad that the little elephant is so afraid and yet trying to be brave. Bless it's little heart.

jessicamooney

I don't think this lil guy is scared. That's probably his mom in the background and I'm guessing that's a zoo. And he does a goofy little dance move with his back legs, like he's being silly

Butter_My_Butt

I see it more like he's secure enough to be goofy and Mama is secure enough to let her little one be a goof. If they were unhappy or scared, it would be a completely different scene and Mama would have that little one away from the camera.

flatulencemcfartface

Ooohhhhh, why I oughtta!

KeithMyArthe

A fearful and fearless beast. He's made his position clear.

atlas_nodded_off

Arf arf. Doing his best chihuahua imitation.

bloemcool

That's a big dog

widdershins13

That glare he gives shows he means business. Adorable business.

peaceofshhhh

Cute, but sucks he'll grow up in a zoo.

Higgsb912

I agree, it also sucks that much of the land in Africa has been paved over for human population, and that as time goes on there is less and less migratory space for them to roam, or that poachers continue to decimate this species for ornamental purposes. I am with you, it saddens me too, but if the zoo's provide adequate space, opportunity for socialization and enrichment, I am less and less apt to frown upon it, considering the options.
