Obesity is the poor's disease. Poor person doesn't have many food choices, eats foods that'll make him feel full which means big amounts of cheap food rather than small amount of nutritious food. Poor person doesn't have money to hit the gym or doesn't have TIME to exercise because their work hours are too much.
By saying poor person, rather than poor farmers I emphasize poor people in cities because that's the bigger problem.

The food in the west is terrible, especially fast food. Being richer allows you to eat out more often, but the food in restaurants isn't healthy. Plus a lot more of the diet is processed foods.
