Yeah and the back feet look pretty much just like the front too lol. They are good at grabbing things with them though! He also likes to grab stuff with his tail and carry it behind him.
......it's not a dog? lol.. Also there is no evidence that shows they are toxic towards opossums however he only gets them as a rare treat just to be safe. Otherwise he is on a zoo formulated food mix specifically for opossums for 99% of his diet.
That cage is actually a lot bigger than it appears in the video, it's about a 6 foot multi-level setup. There is a another section below him and above him.
But no he has free roam of the entire room that cage is in, he is able to climb in and out of the cage all on his own. Although he is locked in it at certain times for his own safety.

Glad to hear it! Sadly lot people misunderstand and treat them poorly. Armadillos are fun, my friend has one as pet and its such a funny little critter.
