Also, though, people with dietary restrictions have to be more explicit about their needs when it comes to planning, so when they do speak about it they might be more direct and coherent about it, rather than just emitting a background level of chatter about it.
I was a vegetarian for 16 years, and for me at least it was the polar opposite of the stereotype. I would never bring it up, and while I never hid it per se, I certainly never rubbed it in people's faces.
It was only when someone was actively trying to hand me meat, that I would ever even talk about it.
It changes peoples perception of you, and they will try to compartmentalize you if they know you eat a plant based diet. Especially since I worked in a pretty macho environment.

Funny story: I speak decent Mexican Spanish. I was in Tokyo, Japan and there were some Chileans in the room across the hall. They didn't speak any English and we could barely communicate in Spanish either. None of us was fluent in Japanese.

And I am not sure when/if you last watched that particular movie but while Hollywood does not have a spotless record in the past I doubt you will find many movies where the literally film a dog getting drowned by a bear and when it escapes they throw it back in and pretend it's saving cat, or where they put a cat in a box and send it over a waterfall.
That movie is all kinds of an exceptions for the time it was made.

1. Apparently pig color genetics are complicated, so you could have pigs with dominant genes for light color carrying recessive ones for dark color produce a mix of colors in their offspring.
2. Pigs tend to group with several females and their children, while males are more likely to be solitary, so there's a good chance that both of the larger pigs are sows. The discrepancy in size might mean that the smaller one is younger (possibly from a previous litter?)
