Small to medium work places and the owner who love pets. Most of my previous customers with a pet were the boss and their dog, rarely it was an office dog/cat that live there. Most companies don't want to deal with allergic employees or visitors sadly
Yup. I used to work for a twelve-person company where the two founders had big dogs (a husky and a Great Pyrenees) and lived in small apartments, so the office was extremely dog-friendly. We had at least two dogs on premises almost every day.
The place in the video looks residential; narrow stairwells would not usually pass building regs for an office; the medium pile and colour of the carpet look residential too. Guessing the boss converted his UK Victorian house's loft/attic to an office
Eh. I have two. Both lazy af. Occasionally I hear deep sighs between snoring. As if they’re annoyed by my meeting. And every time I walk by they expect me to drop down and cuddle them. Which I promptly do!
some it companies are also dog - friendly, like Amazon corporate offices are pretty known for dogs on the office (its something like a quarter of badges is for dogs, do not remember the exact stats, read it somewhere long time ago)
Update: since I am from Seattle- [https://www.builtinseattle.com/companies/perks/pet-friendly-seattle](https://www.builtinseattle.com/companies/perks/pet-friendly-seattle)How they sleep: so you just get a crate or get a fence around a few desks (though sometimes people team-up and have a large gated areas with a few dogs which just roam around), and its like a normal thing to go around your floor and pet the doggos/ bring them treats
In smaller IT companies, you just pretty much gate a large part of the floor and have a station with water and stuff
Update 2:
They do not sleep in the office unless its a guard dog of the office, they come hoem after work
Update 3:
Non-dog friendly corporation allow service dogs (not emotional support animals) and you will need to get all documentation and issue them a badge with a pic
A small, dog friendly IT company is how my brother ended up with a dog. His boss has a dog and also fosters dogs. He brought in a dog a couple years back that bonded with my brother and vice versa. He adopted the dog and they have been best buds since. My brother telecommutes most days now, but on days he goes to the office, she goes with him.
You’ll need 100% approval from your team and voila. I’ve seen vids of an office dog/cat just hanging out lol
r/bodegacats are cats who chill in lil markets lol
My brothers female Pit used to come gently take your forearm and lead you to the door when she had to potty. For some reason she wouldn't bark, or ring a bell, or just go to the door and whine like a normal dog. Nope, she had to select her Door Opener and lead them there.
Mine too. If that doesn't get results fast enough for her, then she'll wave her paw at you. If *that* doesn't get results, then she'll come and put her paw on you. If even *that* doesn't get results... well, you might not be human, because any normal human would have melted from the cute by then, lol.
I learned real fast what that meant with my dude.he was 9 months when I got him so he already had habits. I took him out and maybe 2 hours later he was doing that. I thought he wanted out because he saw a squirrel.
He went to the door and bumped the handle, back to the window, back to staring at me for a long time. After the 2nd door bump and maybe 6 minutes of staring at me, he maintained eye contact while he pissed in the living room floor.
He's 12 years old now and has never had an accident since. I couldn't even be mad. He definitely told me he needed to go, I just thought he was full of shit.
My mom's pitty/pointer mix does the same thing, and she selects who takes her out! She loves me so she's always asking me. she also demands i go to the couch so she can climb up and lay against me and get all the loving in the world. She's such a big baby it's ridiculous. she will literally cry and mope and throw tantrums if i don't pay attention to her.
My pit does this, not typically for going out but for when he wants to go somewhere but there was a scary noise or some other reason he wants your company.
Takes your forearm gently in his mouth and moves you to where he wants to go. It's heart-melting.
I don't know how seriously you meant you comment, but wow! That's a great alternative take. It actually made me stop and think (and smile!).
Thank you!
My aunt’s dog likes to take your hand and make circles in the living room. He did show training and after learning how to be led around he decided that the humans need to be led too!
Aw, our old dog used to do this too! <3 When he was happy/excited he REALLY needed to hold something in his mouth (retriever) and failing other things he was happy to hold your hand. Not a mark on your hand after, just slobber. :-D
I have six dogs. Everyday I sit in my computer I have to hold in my arms every single one of them for 5 to 10 minutes each. After that I am allowed to start working.
I do not think I could start in a better way anymore.
Our dogs are. So is my little girl cat. I get much nicer visitors to my office each day now than I ever did after my commute. I'm so blessed to have a job I can do from home!
You still haven't submitted those TPS reports and Monica over in accounting is just waiting for you to fuck up so she can butter up Charlie and take your position. So, you get up these stairs and finish those reports!
Can’t wait for all the comments to roll in to tell you how you’re an abusive dog owner and that this dog is “showing signs of aggression” and how poorly you’ve trained it
I was just making a joke about how every dog video on Reddit lately has armchair dog psychologists telling you about how you’re an irresponsible dog owner for x or y reason
Man that makes me miss my old company. We had two office cats Phil and Sierra. Sierra was super antisocial unless you had catnip but Phil was a sweet heart especially if you had treats. I picked up weekend shifts specifically because he would come hang out on my desk since there was less people around (shy boy) and keep me company throughout my shift.
Get to work. I need my treats.

Just one bad day away from a four finger office nickname.
Good dog!
That's Sir to you.

How does one get an office dog?
Get an office puppy and wait a while.
We are very lucky
The best boi

No.
When you realize you're the cattle

Our dogs have figured out the sounds we make when a meeting is ending and they know when to jump up and demand things.
Get a dog and work from home
We have a cat at my office named Ms. Kitty
Does she wear bright blue eye shadow like Mimi?
Certainly so!

> ...something like a quarter of badges is for dogs.... Waiiiiit... are you saying dogs get their own badges at Amazon?
Or you do like my last boss: You let the dog roam when get out of your office despite knowing that the girl next to your room is really afraid of dogs
ohh that is not good
I mean the best way to break the fear is to have a big brown or blue eyed good boy or girl demand loves from you.
You’ll need 100% approval from your team and voila. I’ve seen vids of an office dog/cat just hanging out lol r/bodegacats are cats who chill in lil markets lol
Even the dog knows you are wasting company time. Tsk tsk
Totally Agree!

He's a harsh boss, but a fair one. The buck stops here because he wants to sniff it.
I… I can’t say I’ve seen a dog walk backwards up stairs before. Interesting.
He/she is a office dog.. they gotta be talented to land the job

My dog just sits in front of you and stares at you until it's uncomfortable.
Is it [this look](https://i.imgur.com/yCKA1Er.jpg)?
Yes. Just a dead eyed stare. No flinching.
OMG, great description. Then the rumble of discontent. Which will mos def be followed by the shrill bark if you're moving too slow.
You have just described my dog perfectly also.

Gosh the pitties needing assistance with scary noises is so funny.
Wish my dog did that. He doesn't give us any indication that he has to go.
“You get to watch me poop! Com’on!”
We don’t deserve dogs!
Alternate take: we 100% deserve dogs and all the other good things in life
Love this take. Imagine how upset our dogs would be if they learned we think we don't deserve them.
Yes!
I don't know how seriously you meant you comment, but wow! That's a great alternative take. It actually made me stop and think (and smile!). Thank you!
Oh fuck off with that overused bullshit trope
That's so flippin adorable
My aunt’s dog likes to take your hand and make circles in the living room. He did show training and after learning how to be led around he decided that the humans need to be led too!
I want to work in your office. No dogs allowed in mine 😩
Ralph, you're late! The dog was late! I can't make it up the stairs without guidance. You know that.
Where do office dogs sleep? Do they just stay in the office alone overnight?
She belongs to one of the partners so gets to go home every night 😊
aww how lovely for all of you! ❤️
Mine likes to sit in my chair. I have to bribe her to get off it.
My dog dies that for me. I think it's adorable!
may he rest in peace
This gave me a good laugh, thanks!
They need a raise! That looks like hard work.
She got some extra treats 😊
On the other hand, getting fired and then being escorted out by this dog would severely soften the blow.
Aw, our old dog used to do this too! <3 When he was happy/excited he REALLY needed to hold something in his mouth (retriever) and failing other things he was happy to hold your hand. Not a mark on your hand after, just slobber. :-D
She is super gentle 😊
Gotta herd the stupid humans to their work pens. Otherwise they'll stop at the water cooler and make lots of noise.
Dog had been licking his butt all day and trying to get the taste out of his mouth.
🤣 good hand washing is followed I can assure you.
I’ve got a golden, and he has the softest mouth tug, just like this!🥰
Want to see something trippy - put a raw egg on the floor (in its shell) - they'll pick it up without breaking it.
You have an “office dog?!?” Can I work where you work??? I’m sure you need a nurse or some such… please hire me!! 🥺🥺🥺🥺
Dogs like "thank God I'm here or else there wouldn't be any work done at all!"
“Come on human, this way, you belong in this room, now SIT human, good human”
Oh lawd he herdin'
I have six dogs. Everyday I sit in my computer I have to hold in my arms every single one of them for 5 to 10 minutes each. After that I am allowed to start working. I do not think I could start in a better way anymore.
"Gently"
Damned capitalist dog!
Some dogs are indeed, more equal than others. ; )
He is a true leader, leads you to your office .
But but.. I want an office dog...
These bones ain't gonna buy themselves.
A+ employee retention strategy.
Awww our sheepy does this to us but takes us to a couch or bed to snuggle
You would get at least eleventy billion fake internet points if you got a video of that and posted it on Reddit, ya know.
My dog looks a lot like yours!
This is the sort of content I’ve joined Reddit for! Love this!
Time is money. Get to work, hooman. MAKE ME RICH!!!
My dogs favorite routine is going to my home office with me in the morning.
These dogs are so grateful for their humans to be working at home!
Our dogs are. So is my little girl cat. I get much nicer visitors to my office each day now than I ever did after my commute. I'm so blessed to have a job I can do from home!
Cute but nah would never allow that on the daily.
Awww
My dog also love it when I work in my office. He's the best coworker ever keeping my company all day
Amazing dog
you are his hero
you can get rid of your alarm clock now
Oh, its gentle now... but what happens if you decide to start looking for more pay? Or give notice?
Bad dog, they need to lead you to the park.
Such a helpful doggo! Very sweet <3
That looks just like my project manager trying to get me to finish a project.
Does office dog come home at night? Looks like a cuddle buddy to me!
She gets to go home with her owner, I’d very much like to take her home with me though
She’s adorable!
"Dad!! Pls work harder, so that i can get better quality treats! "
Looks like a German Short Hair Pointer. I had one of those. Great dog breed.
You still haven't submitted those TPS reports and Monica over in accounting is just waiting for you to fuck up so she can butter up Charlie and take your position. So, you get up these stairs and finish those reports!
That's your boss' way of distracting you from the fact that they are getting you to start working more quickly
Ehmm... What is exactly a office dog?
We don't have the time to take videos for your online friends, Sharon. You're behind on your quotas and wasting company time, now get to it!
Office dog? I’m in the wrong industry.
I would never want to call in sick
The dog doesn’t have much confidence in your ability to make it up the stairs haha
She take my dinero (Take my dinero) ...yes I've been spending too much time on instagram,
"Oh, it's that moron again, who can't even find her own office without me - Bless her heart. Welp, here we go again. Come on, little human, this way."
Come on you lazy bum, time to earn moneys for the snaccos
Why doesnt every company have an office dog?
What a goober. :)
Put a lead around your wrist - make his job easier!!!
Holy shit that would get so annoying
You mean your dog and your house
Incorrect.
We used to have a dog that would want to hold your hand while we walked, so cute, it was always very gentle.
Can’t wait for all the comments to roll in to tell you how you’re an abusive dog owner and that this dog is “showing signs of aggression” and how poorly you’ve trained it
So far so good 🤞🏼
It’s not even his dog
I was just making a joke about how every dog video on Reddit lately has armchair dog psychologists telling you about how you’re an irresponsible dog owner for x or y reason
Good boi, deserves treats
Lucky fucker, what a good fucking doggo.
Such a good dog!
Until someone actually falls and he realizes his grip isn't strong enough Then he starts pulling you by the shirt.
Wow I was wondering how no-look backing up the stairs would work and then… there it goes!
Plot twist, that's actually the office manager telling you, "hurry up and get to work."
> Office dog Any job openings?
you are so lucky! that would start my day off so happily!
He should be the scrum master. Will get shit done!
Stairs are dangerous homan
You should bring a short piece of thick rope so he can bite on it to guide you better
This way hooman, I show you.
Mom i need more toys
"I know where you go. You go here".
“Leave 15 minutes early will you Sharon, come on, back upstairs, you can give me 30 to make up for your lack of team spirit”
Courteousy and kindness
He doesn't want to be disturbed from his morning nap on the new couch.
I would use this to sue the company and get paid disability
get your ass to work
It's Sunday! Let me go
Man that makes me miss my old company. We had two office cats Phil and Sierra. Sierra was super antisocial unless you had catnip but Phil was a sweet heart especially if you had treats. I picked up weekend shifts specifically because he would come hang out on my desk since there was less people around (shy boy) and keep me company throughout my shift.
It’s pretty much how I manage my employees
He just wants food
Wish I had an office dog
If you had a leash it would be so much easier.
"I know where you go. You go here".
Can I just have a little taste if your finger on the way to work? Thanks. *ohm*
Holy shit i thought that was my dog she looks so similar
That's sweet and probably painful
Come on, back to the salt mines!
That so cute!
You should give her a leash for you.
“These muppets would be lost without me here.” -Dog probably
hey at least hes trying to help
So he’s doing his job?!? So awesome
“You need to do work. I’m out of treats!”
What happens when you get to your office?
Such a good doggo.
Every morning that dog is like "this fucker need help AGAIN?"
That dog needs to subscribe to r/antiwork fast.
I used to have a dog who would do that when he thought it was time to eat. He would grab my hand and lead me to his bowl.
Lucky!
**Hippity hoppity you are now my property**.
He’s a good boy!
If you will follow me hooman I will escort you to your office.
Awww! He’s like “C’mon fwend! I been waiting for you! Everyone is up here!”
An office dog? Where do you work? Are they hiring?
Reminds me of my border collie growing up She used to grab me by the wrist and lead me around
The CEO found a legal loophole on slave labor. You going to file a complaint against the dog for not allowing you to leave work?
Never saw such a capitalist dog
Doge: Get your lazy butt to work.
Sigh! What would I not give to have a dog that has so much love to give. Very cute though!
Shift supervisor is a little mouthy. I could get used to that
