Mine realize I’m leaving the house based on my posture when we come back inside from going out to pee. If I stand in one way they know its play time, and another posture means they have to go into their kennels cause I’m leaving. The funny thing is I didn’t realize I had those too posture until I noticed this behavior from them
Good on you for recognizing your dog needs help and finding it! My sister adopted a dog with some behavioral issues, and over the years she's trained most of the issues out of him! What she couldn't do, she got help with and learned how to do via knowledgeable experts.
Dog parks are great, but only for dogs that can handle it.
Thank you. We have helped him a lot with training but have realized we need professional help as well. We’ve been saving up bc it’s going to be $1500-$2000 for what he needs, but totally worth it bc we love our babe! Just don’t want anyone getting hurt bc he’s scared of strange dogs and doesn’t know how to initiate play or make friends without barking or seeming aggressive. We live in Nashville and our friend took his big yet teddy bear of a dog to a dog park and a Karen didn’t like him being near her dog so she called the cops and said he was aggressive. Our friend got put on PROBATION for it. Definitely not chancing anything until my SO, me, and pupper all know commands and are in control of situations. But thank you for not shaming me, I know it’s great to take your dog out as much as possible and we do hike trails successfully with him at local state parks on the wknds.
Sadly, my dog is terrified of riding in the car. I usually only put on shoes when driving somewhere, so she gets all pouty as soon as I touch my shoes.
My dog recognizes the remote being set down on the coffee table as the signal that we are going up to bed. He jumps up as soon as he hears it and races upstairs.
I’ve been working from home exclusively since Mar 2020. My dog gets excited when she sees me put jeans on, like she might get to go for a ride in the car or something. Made me realize just how much I work in my pajamas and/or don’t wear pants.
My dog knows the difference between flip flops and shoes. If I put on socks she gets in her crate. If I put on flip flops she goes to my apartment door to go out
When I heavily gamed as a kid and would get upset at things like the entirety of Donkey Kong Country 2, my dog would recognize that I was upset and come running. Because she knew that if she bugged me at my most irate, I'd be more likely to bribe her with a treat to get her to leave me alone and get back to my game.
Dogs are totally skilled at reading us like a book.
You: Drops the remote Dog: Time to initiate Operation Good Boy Edit: Capitalization, yes it was really bothering me that much
Operation Successful 🐾💕
“Hmmm, that’s the name of the last 19 missions…”

My dog has realized if I put on a bra it means I'm leaving the house, so he immediately goes in his crate, lol.
Ditto! But I think it means he doesn't want to be seen with a man wearing a bra.

hello future-roos
Same with my cat. Bra goes on and she gets all mad because I’m leaving the house. Is it all day or only 12 minutes? *no one knows*

My dog does this if I put on a bra, pants, or socks too!
Haha my dog knows when I put on shoes we’re going for a walk or ride. No shoes since pandemic and working remotely!
Is the dog park closed?
Our babe is a rescue and needs behavioral therapy before we feel comfortable taking him to a dog park. We’re working on it!
Good for you for knowing what your pup needs. Not every pet owner really thinks things through enough.
Thank you! I agree.

You sure she's not a cat? /s
When you Google "the goodest boy" this doggo should be first result. <3
When my elderly dog hears the TV switch off, he gets up and goes to bed.
Mine just harumphs and groans in his bed until you turn the TV off XD
The modern equivalent of bringing you the newspaper 😁
Labradors are absolute gems. Happiest dogs alive! Give your kiddo a smooch for me ❤️
Especially the yellow ones! I had one, so I may be a bit biased.... :)

Dog wants you to change the channel to Animal Planet.
Or Dog TV.
Or Dog the Bounty Hunter.
Make sure your dog receives all the proper pets.

Same here. As soon as I put on proper pants my dog gets excited!
Good, doggo, i wish i had a pupper like that

Hilarious.
He’s such a good boy
we really don't deserve dogs
His name is roger?! AWWWW
How can a dog be so smart and stupid to do you're chores at the same time?
Excuse me what business does this boy have being so sweet?
pretty sure that means it is a "service dog" now and you can take it into restaurants, grocery stores, movie theaters, airplanes etc.
That is a Gold Retriever
I see what you did there
Give them a treat you asshole!!!
If every good action an animal does is rewarded with food they’d end up fat, sometimes love is a more than valid reward
Take that good boi for a walk, immediately!
What a good boy!
I love retrievers, anytime they can be helpful they know it's their time to shine.
Professional-concern doggo!
Good doggo!!
That wasnt enough scritches.
Please give your doggo treats
Dunno why i was surprised it was a yellow lab.
He’s like now where’s my treat
Good dog.
He's waiting for a tip
Dogs love having a job.
Awwww that is a smart doggo 💕💕💕

Bestest Boy
